Fun atmosphere. The burger is fine, nothing particularly special. Fries too. The oldie concept of burgers and pie is nice. But only 3 stars because they are woefully behind in offering gluten free options (no bun and no pie) and they still use the money laundering approach of cash only. For a burger that doesn’t taste any better than In n Out, charging $18 seems ludicrous.

The journey is over, you have found the holy Grail. Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere if for some strange reason you would not want pie. They have a full dessert menu

Old school diner vibe, juicy burgers, delicious shakes and highly recommend the Mac & Potato salads. CASH ONLY, atm inside.

A burger and 5 onion rings $18.00 and no drink. The onion in my burger was larger than the patty and the patty was smashed down flat. Not worth the money
The absolute best burger anywhere E of the 110 freeway! I get a Cheeseburger no lettuce no pickle and no tomato add a fried egg and grilled onion! Try it this way and thank the heavens you saw this review! Also the apple, and banana cream pie are my go to A la mode of course. Strawberry shake is my sons favorite (big enough for 2) and onion rings! cash only joint so stop by your bank first!

Good luck finding a seat or parking.
It's cash only.
The food wasn't that great and the prices are outrageous for what they serve here. I'd rather spend my money for better food at InNout.

Take a trip in the way-back machine and visit Pie 'n Burger. It's been a long while since I've visited, but just like before great burgers. Juicy patty, perfectly with melty cheese on a toasted bun and crunchy lettuce stacked just right (comes with pickles which I excluded). Burger has just the right amount sauce and all the flavors fit together just right. The fries were hot, but not that crispy, so just ok on those. $3.75 for a very small soda (maybe 10 ounces!) was an eyebrow lifter. All beverages are pricey. Pie slices at around $8.00 are also expensive compared to other diner style restaurants, which are around $6.00 -$7.00 but worth the occasional splurge. They have a nice breakfast menu. Small parking lot and street packing available.

They have a good cheeseburger and fries. I've also tried the party melt, while I do think it was good I would suck to the cheeseburger. Old school diner with friendly staff, stop by if you want a good classic cheeseburger.
Best Burgers!

Great burgers, awesome shakes and the pies - especially pecan pie - will blow you away. Like stepping into an old movie set - the way diners were supposed to be. Continuous operation for what - something like 50 years! Always friendly staff
