This place is a cute little cafe, glad I came here but not sure if I'll be a repeat customer.

The cakes are kind of hit and miss, I came here for the sunny-side-up cake that looks like an egg. It was supposed to be mango flavor but the flavors are very mild. It just tasted like mildly sweet vanilla. The strawberry cake we tried had slightly more fruit flavor but not much and the strawberry tasted a tad artificial. Kind of a let down because that's what we came here for. Again not bad but ehh...

The drink I has was supposed to be Tiramisu, but again barely any flavor just tasted like a mocha frap from Starbucks. But the bubbles on top were so fun to pop

I recommend giving this place a shot it's unique and the desserts are sooo pretty. But in my opinion this is a style 1st kinda place.

Delicious! Lovely staff, the food was unique and extremely filling and tasty. Great drink and desert options. Wish y'all were in Georgia! Will definitely come by again next time we are in Pasadena. :)

Delicious and worth a try.

The matcha raspberry cake is GORGEOUS, I think it’s actually one of the best cakes I’ve ever eaten. The matcha yuzu is also incredible, and the black sesame was absolutely heavenly.

I tried the mango items and absolutely loved them! Super smooth, full of flavor, and so refreshing — highly recommend giving them a try!

Taste like plastic and cheap artificial chemicals

A cute clean cafe that’s perfect for a small snack or drink! The snacks and desserts were the highlight of the visit here to me as it all tasted fresh and had reasonable prices.

This is Pasadena's best kept secret. Adorable cakes in a tin that are perfect for picnics or to take home. Literally couldn’t decide which one was my favorite—the mango one that looks like a sunny side up egg, but I think the matcha yuzu with the fluffiest chiffon cake definitely won.

Besides sweets, they also have Japanese-style sandos. The staff recommended the one with pork floss--if you don’t know what pork floss is, give it a try, I guarantee it goes so well with the egg sando!

Thanks for reading! ^-^

Pillow Talk Cafe is located on Main Street of Lake Avenue with convenient street parking. It’s my go-to spot for egg sandwiches and desserts!

The Mentaiyaki Egg Sandwich is my favorite, egg is cooked perfectly, it’s best to eat it fresh and piping hot as it doesn’t quite taste the same when you takeout.

The desserts are equally impressive, with the Pink Lover Lychee dessert being my favorite with its light and refreshing flavors. The Strawberry and Oreo Lollipop Cake is also a fun, easy-to-eat treat, while options like Salted Oreo and Matcha Yuzu offer bold, creative flavors.

The sandwiches and desserts keeps me craving to eat it again. Definitely will be back soon!

Pillow Talk is a cute Japanese coffee shop that serves delightful sandwiches and mini cakes. It’s located on S. Lake ave in Pasadena. It has ample of tables and seats on a very relaxing atmosphere. Furthermore, its aesthetic interior decor and spotless white wall and high ceiling with recess lighting makes the store look more spacious.

We were warmly greeted by a young female staff. It was our first time here. They have a modest menu of coffee, juices, mini cakes and egg sandwiches.
I had an Egg Heaven and Iced Honeycomb Latte. The sandwich tastes
good and the latte was refreshing.

They have a plethora of hand crafted mini cake desserts with ostentatious decorations. Prices are fair and competitive. Plenty of street parking.
Staff were cordial and professional. Service was on point. Overall, I enjoyed their food and drink and service. I will definitely come back and try their desserts. I recommend this coffee cake shop.

A Tiny Bakery with Big Flavor
Tucked away in the heart of Pasadena, a quaint little bakery is making waves with its delectable sandwiches and refreshing beverages. Despite its modest size, this gem offers a culinary experience that's anything but ordinary.
A Sandwich Sensation:
Indulge in their signature sandwich, a hearty and flavorful creation that's perfect for sharing. At around $13, you'll receive three generous half-sandwiches, making it an affordable and satisfying meal for two.
A Matcha Marvel:
For a refreshing pick-me-up, try their mango matcha. This delightful blend is not overly sweet, striking the perfect balance of fruity and earthy flavors.
Convenient Dining:
While the bakery doesn't offer lots of indoor seating, you can easily enjoy your meal outdoors. Simply find a spot on the nearby street, pay the meter, and savor the deliciousness.

Been coming to pillow talk for a little bit over 3 years, personally I didn’t find their sandwiches as appealing as others mentioned, but I do like their tiramisu, however I do feel they prices their desserts kinda high.

Salty Orio tastes normal, but the pork floss’s cake is super hard.

Honeycomb latte doesn’t have honeycomb. It’s just 100% melted sugar with some baking soda.
