It looked like a very cozy café. However, the furniture is very basic and uninviting. The cakes look delicious and taste uniquely good. The sandwiches are cute and are perfect for a light meal. The latte was just mediocre. A big turn off point is that they do not let guests use the restroom. There is a big sign on the bathroom that says “No Public restroom”. I have two problems with that. It is unethical to deny restroom access with those prices; and secondly, it is unhygienic to have finger food but guests are unable to wash their hands before eating.

Loved the sandwich and the latte was tasty and strong. I was able to chill and check my emails at a nice sunny table. Will come back for their dessert cups!

This is a very cute coffee shop and I've enjoyed their sandwiches and desserts. Their little tin cakes are all quite good, not tooth achingly sweet like a lot of American desserts. Their asian style sandwiches are also really delicious and hits the spot if you want something different. Their coffee, however, is hit and miss. Sometimes the lattes are quite mediocre, but hopefully that will improve.

I love their Kinako Chestnut dessert! It's a subtle sweetness to it that doesn't make it overly sweet! I got the honeycomb latte and it was delicious! Before mixing in the honeycomb it's a little more bitter however after the honeycomb dissolves it makes sweet. This coffee is on the sweeter side. The workers were very helpful in answering my questions and there were plenty of chairs and tables inside!

Pillow Talk is just right there in quaint downtown Pasadena. My friend and I made our way here almost on accident as we tried to churn through another rough week of school.I ordered the ube latte and he got the honeycomb latte. They were pretty standard, I would say -- pretty good, but not extremely memorable. I think the star of their show is the desserts, but we weren't really in a dessert kind of mood when we went, so we didn't try them. There's enough seating for most people because it's not super busy, and the tables are well sized. The storefront does face west, so if you're getting there in the afternoon, keep the lighting in mind as the sun starts to set.

This was my first time coming to pillow talk and I've had it in my saved list for a while.I parked in the macys parking structure (free) and walked over since Pasadena is notorious for no parking sometimes. I ordered my egg Heaven sandwich ahead of time through the Yelp app for pick up. It didn't take long! The place is small, very clean, and very cute. The lady who helped me was kind and recommended the two cakes I also purchased. The basque cheesecakes are limited time only.I got the pink lover cake and the grape earl grey cake. The sando was delicious. I was expecting it to taste like the egg salad sandos from Japan but these did not. So if you're looking for that, sorry the egg Heaven didn't taste like it. BUT IT WAS really good, stuffed with egg salad and sprinkled with pepper, it was finger licking good. I bought the cakes to give to my mom and grandparents, I will let you know if they like them! They were sooo beautiful. Overall I had a great experience trying this egg Heaven sando, and visiting this cute sandwich and dessert spot! There is a different tamago sando that I want to try next time too!

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and ordered an iced tiramisu and egg heaven sandwich. The place is pretty small with around 4-6 tables. The egg heaven sandwich was good but it wasn't anything special. It tasted similar to the ones I make at home. The iced tiramisu looks pretty but I didn't enjoy this drink as much as I thought I would. I thought it was too milky and not enough coffee flavor. The workers were friendly though.

This has been in my bookmarks for awhile and finally got a chance to check it out since I was in the area. It's a nice little spot! The tin cakes were so cute and they were delicious! Not overly sweet. Pink Lover was my favorite of the 3 gotten, but the other two were just as good. Also tried one of the egg sandos and they were tasty as well.

We stumbled across this adorable find while getting boba next door. It was such a nice treat for a Sunday afternoon. We tried a few of the desserts-Matcha yuzu- good blend of the matcha with the citrus Black sesame Sunny side up- good fruity blend of mango and coconut. As if you were eating a smoothie Pink lover- a little tart, a little spongy and not too sweetChocoberry- richer than the others and heavy on the chocolate. The desserts weren't too sweet, which was much appreciated considering how dense some of them were. They were served in adorable reusable tin cans. Great for an individual dessert or you can get a few to share. This is a cozy spot to stop in for a quick dessert or snack. Small tables offer intimate seating. We didn't get a chance to try the sandwiches but looking forward to coming back for those.

Cute little shop with amazing customer service! They leave hand sani wipes on the tables, which is so nice! Also, let's not forget the food... it was so delicious! We had the mentaiko egg sandwich and the egg salad sandwich. The mentaiko egg was the best and the tamagoyaki was done PERFECTLY, with just the right amount of salt and dashi. We also got cakes and they are beautiful!! Also the honeycomb latte was delicious and they melted into the coffee over time!
