Avoid hosting your event at this dreadful restaurant. Choose a place that values your patronage and treats you with respect. I recently attended a dinner event for a respected organization at Pinocchio's to support the nonprofit and this community restaurant affected by the Eaton Fire. It was disheartening to witness the owner/manager exploit this well-meaning organization.
The only accurate aspect of this restaurant is its name; the owner’s dishonesty is evident. Authentic Italian cuisine? Not even close! Unless frozen tiramisu, stale coffee that resembles mud, and cannelloni that are hard, rancid and inedible are considered Italian. The chicken dish was so heavily breaded it could have passed for vegetarian, and the shrimp in the scampi were so scarce it felt like a treasure hunt to find them. As for the lasagna, it might have been better sourced from Costco. When the overpriced and sub-par food was brought to the owner/manager's attention, he simply ignored the concerns and walked away. Unfortunately, it was too late for the event organizers to take action.
Check the one-star reviews for the real story; the four-star ratings are likely from friends or family. This establishment should be shut down and replaced by a restaurant that genuinely values its customers and serves quality food.

Reservations were made for 10 people. We waited 40 minutes for our table. The manager said we'd be compensated for the delay, but nothing was done to better the situation. Server was very nice and food was good. But why bother making reservations when they are not honored.

Here you can get a really tasty pizza in a great atmosphere. The waitresses are super nice and the price is ok. So if you're in the area, just take a look.

I have been coming here for many yrs. I've attended parties both at Pinnochio's & Elli. Today I had a terrible experience at Pinnochio's. There's a big sign outside advertising endless mimosas $15. My daughter & her boyfriend ordered one ea. It took forever to get service. I decided to join them but I ordered just a glass of champagne. Would you believe they brought me a hot glass of champagne? Who does that? If you are advertising memosas , would you not have cold champagne? I was so disappointed, I told the bartender & asked for a glass of ice. It melted immediately because my drink was hot, so I ended up drinking watered down champagne. My daughter and her boyfriend were never offered mimosa refills we had to ask. Our pizzas did not arrive until towards the end of our meals. I ordered a salmon dinner, the waitress forgot to bring my garlic bread. However she did bring some after I asked. Funny thing is, while ordering she had told me it comes with the meal. Meals are advertised with sun-dried tomatoes.But instead we got fresh sliced tomatoes on top of our pastas. We spent a hundred and nineteen dollars and six cents and tipped twenty dollars. Our check was number 19, we were at table three and our server was Flor. Today was the worst experience.I've ever had a Pinocchios. It was 98° out & our salads were not chilled but I will say the hot food was good! Because of today's experience, I'm not sure if I ever want to go back there again.

When in the mood for some great Italian food, this subtle location is the place to check out. The atmosphere with its brown tones and family-friendly seating is good for date night, too. The service has always been top notch and look out for Armen, the owner who is hands-on and caters to your dining pleasure. It's also great for parties. They have a decent sized banquet room. My family has had three events there and the food and service were really good. My go-tos are the fried calamari and shrimp pesto linguine.

Excellent service, AMAZING Pizza, what more can you say!? I'll tell you what more, their new(as I was told by the wait staff) garlic cheesey bread is like non other!! The bread quality is tip top, the cheese is incredible, those roasted garlic flakes are scrumptious and that marinara sauce, OMG, that marinara sauce is TO DIE FOR!!! You pair that high quality food with a staff that you can tell LOVES to work their, a manager that jumped onto the kitchen to make pizzas because the cooks were slammed and you add to all this, reasonable prices where they could surely charge more and would be totally justified, you get a place that I personally WILL be coming back for more and more!! Kudos to you Pinocchio's of Pasadena for getting all of this just right!
