Really disappointed in RFD. The food can be hit or miss.. only a few staples are consistent. They recently raised their prices by 40% and made food portions smaller at the same time. It's very evident with the Club sandwich. So now I'm paying almost 50% more money to receive less food. It's insulting. This is one of the few healthy vegan establishments around and they just priced out access to "real food" to most of the demographics in Los Angeles.

My husband did a quick Las Vegas to Los Angeles trip for various reasons. When he returned, he surprised me with some delicious dishes from Real Food Daily. I love breakfast food way too much. All those greasy eggs and meats - yum! But I try to not eat too much of them. So when I see healthy vegan options that substitute with tofu scramble, tempeh, or jackfruit, I go all in! I tried both the breakfast calzone as well as the breakfast burrito with jackfruit. I baked them to reheat and they were perfect. Flavors were intense but not overwhelming, and textures were filling + satisfying. Real Food Daily - I wish you had a location in Las Vegas. You're our new pit stop for all our Los Angeles road trips now!

I've been a regular at Real Food Daily for many years now. It's my go to and I always bring friends and any visiting family here. I'm the only vegan in my family, but everyone I've brought here has enjoyed it. The staff is so friendly and helpful which makes it even better. I recommend it to everyone!

We had a late lunch here and had the RFD burger with tater tots which was pretty good. Our server was a sweet young lady but overly apologetic over spilt water by one of those in our group. The place was nice but a little on the sterile side. I prefer to feel more comfortable in a homie atmosphere.

We just spent $ 159.on inedible food . We are by no means picky eaters , but come on ! They even messed up my cornbread !!it had no flavor and looked uncooked. It wasn't even yellow.They could have opened a box of Jiffy cornbread and it would have been much tastier. The onion rings were overcooked. The "burgers " were tasteless. Chi-chi garbage . The servers were very nice . Hence the one star .

What a gem! Mediterranean Salad was stellar! Packed with herbaceous flavor, tangy and filling~ They accidentally gave me a different salad yesterday so they even graciously offered a discount today Will be back again to try other goodies~!

We were visiting Pasadena from Northern California and my daughter wanted to try this place out. The ambiance was definitely more upscale than most vegan restaurants I've been to. The seats were nice and comfortable. We ordered the RFD burger and a bowl along with a side of sweet potato fries - the food was very delicious and we enjoyed our meal very much. Service was very polite and attentive, so no complaints there. Definitely one of the highlight of our trip to Southern California.

The food was okay. We got breakfast sandwich, lasagna & ramen. None of us thought it was amazing or flavorful. Our drinks cucumber mojito & margarita were also diluted. The margarita is on tap so definitely not tasty. Our server also asked my friend "what would you like for a side. It comes with a side blah blah" & my friend chose fries. Assuming it means it comes with the sandwich but it was $2 extra .. so overall meh experience.
Food was amazing and fantastic, service was perfect - I highly recommend Real Food Daily in Pasadena! Easy parking too!

Not only does the food slap, but so does the crew that operates this lovely vegan joint. I had accidentally left my wallet here and everyone helped me out by defending it from evil doers, and eventually returning it to me! Their desserts are incredible as well, they served me some cheesecake with raspberry syrup and it hit the spot. 10/10

Low level unprofessional staff.I had delivery order and again in that restaurant I had to wait from 15-20 minutes. I complained about always long waiting time . They apologized millions times. After 20 minutes, employee brought food and put on the table. I asked her" That my order?" The third time she remembered that she had to give me my order. When I wanted to come out, they said that order has missed item. They opened bag , put that item and gave me open bag. I asked them to close it. After they closed bag by tape. I was unhappy. When I did delivery I see that they wrote bad review and did low my rating. . I understood that they don't respect themselves because they sorry had 0 value for them. And if they insult me and it did them professional I am happy for them.

Amazing food! Plant based. Even if this isn't your diet the food is amazing and you will find something really delicious to eat! Their wine and beer is organic and they have a fun happy hour as well. Nice patio. They will accommodate your dog in the patio area. Definitely a favorite!Dietary restrictions: Looking forward to their choice of Impossible Burger switched to Beyond Burger to avoid the soy! When you have the choice why eat the soy!Also hoping for more gluten free options for those of us unable to eat gluten.

Believe me when I say that dropping RFD into three-star territory brings me no pleasure. I loved RFD. The Santa Monica location was the first restaurant I ate at in Los Angeles when I originally visited some 15 years ago. After I moved to town, I went to RFD every few weeks for probably two years. I later lived near the La Cienega location, and dined in more times than I can count. During lock-down, we picked up food from RFD dozens of times. But man... somewhere over the last year or two, they've just completely fallen off. The menu feels like it hasn't changed in a decade. No specials, no new items to try, no energy. If you go to the menu on their website, they have a "Featured" section which you'd think to contain some new and exciting options. But the items are the Cheeseburger Egg Rolls, which they've had for years, and a "Thanksgiving Teaser" meal because we all need to be prepping for Thanksgiving in February. Speaking of their website, it was down for like three months. How does that happen? Maybe if they executed the vintage menu well, I could understand leaving it the same. But the food has been subpar at best. We have stood in the doorway, waiting for someone to greet us for way too long while the restaurant was completely empty. Food is often too salty or unseasoned. A few weeks ago, I had the Buffalo Cauliflower Calzone, and the inside was a watery, lukewarm, soggy mess. They are often out of desserts, much to my preschooler's disappointment. And on our very last visit there was a horrible smell permeating the place, somewhat like a backed-up toilet. I can't remember the last time we walked out talking about how great the food or experience was. I will say the servers are all polite, but we often have to get up and find someone to ask for water or order more food. Polite is great, but it pairs better with attentiveness. Honestly, if it wasn't for their Basic "build your own" Bowls, I don't think I'd come here at all anymore. I shoot for pickup/delivery on occasion, but even that has become difficult because items and dressings are missing from most of the delivery apps. I have to call in to tweak my online order to actually get what I'm looking for which is undue hassle. It's just rough, man. Maybe 2.5 stars is more appropriate. Like I said, I loved RFD. But nostalgia can only carry an establishment so far.
