Everything is great the food, service and atmosphere. This place is very very small but I don't care. And BTW they have the best banana nut bread I have ever tasted 😋

My favorite breakfast spot in LA. The cinnamon roll French toast is a must – rich and sweet but delicious

My husband and I are in town from San Antonio Texas for a family event. We've eaten at many breakfast places and this tiny hole in the wall breakfast place is by far one of the best tasting places we have eaten at with an abundance of food and extremely reasonable prices. I felt like we traveled back in time. So delicious!!

Homestyle breakfast café. One of the best I've been to in years. 10 minute wait for seating during 10am on a holiday!

I wouldn’t even give this place half a star if I could. My mom, sister, nephew, and I visited this morning for the first time, and the service was extremely disappointing.

When we walked in, the man at the front—who seemed to be hosting and cashiering—had a terrible attitude. Instead of greeting us, he bluntly said, “Go back outside and sign in, there are no tables.” We were confused, as there was no clear sign or direction about where or how to sign in. Thankfully, a kind employee stepped in and helped guide us—shout out to her for being helpful.

When our table was ready, the same man returned and said “Table 5” in a rude tone. When my sister asked where that was, he snapped back, “There are numbers on the wall.” First of all, there’s no need for the attitude. Second, how are we supposed to know how things work if we’ve never been there before?

If he’s the manager, I feel bad for the rest of the staff, because the rest of the team—our server and the bussers—were all very kind and attentive. Unfortunately, the experience ended just as poorly as it started. When my mom went to pay, he grabbed the money off the counter so aggressively that the change scattered everywhere. She came back saying, “Let’s go, he’s so mean.” Our server overheard and even apologized for his behavior.

Whatever this man had going on, it was no excuse for treating guests like that. If you don’t enjoy your job, it’s not the customers’ fault.

In town for a few weeks and wanted to find a simple, solid breakfast place. This is it. Great breakfast, good portions, very professional staff.

Small place so kind of a long wait on a Saturday morning. Machaca was pretty good but could be way spicier. Homefry potatoes, my go-to, were quite al-dente and underdone. Sad. But I understand the small amount of time they spent to cook them, I did appreciate the quick turnaround for our food as we were late to a show. Flour tortilla was good, but salsa was hot which was weird to me. Waitress was very fast and nice but checked in too often, balance is everything.

I moved away from this area and a couple years ago but I still think about their breakfast burritos and banana bread! I make sure to stop by whenever I’m in town.
