My absolute favorite market. We have been shopping here for years and the owner is just the sweetest. Best "pink wrapper" sandwiches on the planet!

It’s OK. I went out of my to find this place, and was underwhelmed by how bland the sandwich and service was. The only reason I gave it even 2 stars was the price- $6 is amazing for that sized sandwich in Pasadena.

Cute little Italian grocery store. Has a bunch of deli meats and Italian specialty items. You have to try their premade sandwiches by the register. They are delicious and quite affordable. One of the best value bites around LA.

Supporting local! Mainstay of the community serving those iconic sandwiches. The owner and family were all there when visiting, they knew what I was looking for. The sandwiches are located at the register. While in line I saw so many wonderful Italian goodies I'll have to come back for.

4.4/5.0 Came for the famed sandwiches. They were good, I'd come back. It wasn't as fast as it should have been for having pre-made sandwiches. Might rate it more highly if the line wasn't so long and obstructive to the rest of the market. The line wraps around like a snake through the main aisles, so you have to constantly ask people to move to get to produce or other imported goods.

The 6 dollar sandwich is there claim to fame. Great value for a quick lunch. It’s got that old school Italian feel to it. Over all it was a bit dry but still very good and tasty. Not super friendly and the market prices were ridiculous. Of course it’s in the heart of over rated and run down Pasadena. Overall, I recommend this little quirky joint.

Best...most authentic Italian sandwich in southern Cali

As always, great Italian groceries and very reasonable Italian sandwiches. Outstanding selection of pasta, deli, panettone, home made ravioli & tortellini etc. When you walk into Roma Market, it's like stepping back to the late 50s, early 60s! Authentic customer service ..... staff really know their merchandise!
Not sure what all the fuss is for this Italian Market. The bread to meat ratio is 3 -1 bread less meat, the meats tated old not as fresh as I expected. Since when is soft cheese kept outside the refregiator. I will try Clarios in San Gabriel I heard good things about that Market.

Finally made it to Roma for “the” sandwich and it did not disappoint. I ate the whole thing almost before I left the parking lot. The bread, the quality meat, the price (only $6 flat) all add to the experience. One of the best in LA for sure. Looking forward to trying something different the next time, but for first timers, the premade is the way to go.

You can never go wrong with their 6 dollar sub to go

Great little Italian market. Don't forget the Cannolis from Italy in the freezer. They're cheaper and better than the ones from Whole Foods. I hope I didn't just do myself in.
