The food is usually good and the service usually not. If they get your order wrong don't expect them to apologize for it (maybe they will but odds are more likely they won't). You go for the food and take your chances. Good service or bad doesn't matter, they're always packed on Sundays and so I don't think they really care.

I love this place the food is great ! We drive down to the SFV just to eat there. Staff is polite and very attentive. The location is beautiful.

The waffle didn't taste the same as it did from Last visit (3 years ago). The chicken was good. The place was empty, the time went. Saturday lunch time. The prices have jumped quite a bit. Guessing why place was not busy.

Save your money and cook at home. The 1 star is not because the customer service was bad. My waiter was good, I left a $10 tip for a $52 bill. And it was only me. But let's talk about that $52. I get it, it's Roscoe's. But nothing that they're doing is worth the $52 I just spent. I had a wing, chicken breast, a small side of Mac n cheese and grits. The grits were like a watery soup. It like the grits they serve when you get to the lowest parts of hell in the afterlife. Just so they can make sure you don't enjoy it. The Mac n cheese tasted like no love. It tasted like the cold home you come to after work because you don't have family or friends to love you. The chicken was good, but not good enough to stop me from writing this bad review. The cook obviously hates the cashier because while she was trying to help me, he glared at her while continuously ringing the bell like she wasn't busy. I guess we all hate our jobs. For $52 I could have gotten better service and better food at ruth's Chris. Hell, I could have gone to Panda Express and spent $15 and felt better than to come to this place. I could have complained and asked for my money back but the economy is bad, people need their jobs and the less plates that are sent back, the better for the employees. But if you happen to read this review before ruining your breakfast, lunch or dinner, you're welcome. It'll bother me that I wasted $52 for a few days but maybe this review will help you save the money I should have kept.

This place never answers the phone, so you can't do a phone order even if you call 10 times. Ok so I drive there and want to order to go: The staff has the energy and attitude that they don't want to be there and treat you like you gave them the Mofkn job application yourself. I swear, I want to order food and I feel like I just asked for a ride to the airport. Only Roscoe's location with this horrible attitude and the work ethic of a juvenile hall. The manager needs to reevaluate his staff and see who actually wants to be there. this is the 8th time I leave without ordering because the energy and attitude is subpar. Answer the phone and you won't have to interact with people as much since it's a huge problem to you guys

Have you ever wanted to go the ghetto for fried chicken and not want to drive to the ghetto? Well, here you to, pretentious LA peeps. This cultural landmark is like anything you hear about in rap songs: stupid. I like rap and I've been to plenty of ghettos. I can live without this dump. The food or atmosphere or service? Who cares, its NOT what you come here for.The security guard at the front tells you all you need. Still walking in? If you've ever wanted to know what "customer service" is like south of the 10 and east of the 405, there ya go. Food, well, what you should expect after having went through all of the above so far.I've been here 2x because someone who was "good while it lasted" loved...well... this place. Well, the Sour Girl (Stone Temple Pilots) is gone and so is any chance of me wasting time at this place. I was done after the 2nd visit (I gave it a second chance :-/ ). Like King Taco, that hot dog place on Hollywood that sells Kirkland hotdogs, and many other pretentious places, this place highlights only the worst of LA stereotypes. Bon apetit!

My first visit to this location. They ran out of menus, cups, and didn't have any desserts. I decided to try the chicken chili cheese fries. On the menu he had the option to add cut pieces of chicken on top for an additional fee. I opt out of the chicken on top just wanted chili and cheese. When my food arrived they put the chicken on top instead of sending it back I just tried it. The fries where okay I removed the chicken off the top because it just didn't taste right to me. I would have to try them again with extra cheese because they where sort of skimpy with the cheese. Their sunset drink is good though. No refills on specialty drinks so be prepared to pay.

Have been meaning to come here forever, and finally got around to it - was definitely worth it! Walked in on a Saturday evening around 7 with a group of four and was able to get seated immediately. The service was extremely friendly and engaging. I love dark meat, so the Economy Special (3 legs and 2 thighs) was the way to go - the chicken had a great crunch and flavor while staying moist. I ordered a side waffle as well which was also excellent, both by itself with the whipped butter and syrup as well as with bites of fried chicken. I enjoyed the Roscoe's Original Pepper Sauce on the chicken, it had a nice viscosity, good flavor and kick. Will definitely have to come back next time I’m in the area!

Aside from the parking lot that reeks pee; This restaurant was very clean inside. The server was very nice & attentive. I got the #9 Country Boy; 3 wings and 2 waffles. It was really good! The bathroom was superbly clean. ♡♡♡♡♡ will recommend.

I ordered a soft drink, iced tea with lemonade. The price was around $6 which is pretty steep! During my meal the server came to ask if anything was needed. I asked for a refill of water and my soft drink. Now, as old as I am, I have not had to pay for a refill since restaurants began to give unlimited refills back in the 80's. Iced tea has always been refillable. Our server told me that my water was refillable but not my iced tea. What?!! For the ridiculous price I was charged and no refills, no way. It's a shame because the food is great, but we won't be back.
