I went to this location today 3/9/26 at 12:47pm and I was very disappointed in the customer service of one particular person there. When I walked in, there was about 5 people infront of me and 3 people behind me. The hostess in the front taking the orders on the paper greeted and welcomed the 5 Caucasian customers in line one by one as she took the orders. Then I was next, and she just looked at me and I got no greeting or welcome. I was the only black person in line and she didnt greet me but instead just looked at me and waited for me to say what I wanted. I noticed right away how she was very different towards me. After I gave her my order she greeted and welcomed the other 3 Caucasian people behind me in line. I stood there and listened and watched. This is unacceptable, rude and degrading to me. I was not treated the same as the white customers. This worker should not be working there. When I checked out, I asked the cashier if there was a manager or supervisor there to talk to about what just happened to me. They told me the owner had just left and there was no one there in charge and gave me the work card to email them. I then asked her what is that hostess name in the front and I pointed. She told me her name is Naomi. I hope she gave me the persons correct name. Management or somebody needs to look into this worker asap. As she treated me very different because of the color of my skin. This was such an awful experience. And I will never go to this place again. Please look into this worker.

Divine coffee. The flakiest pastries you'll ever encounter. Dangerous, but amazing!

The food is worth the line. For those sweet-toothed, try the croissant cinnamon rolls: flakey, soft, good balance of sweetness and cinnamon, excellent cream cheese icing. For those savory-lovers, try the ham and cheese croissant: a nice lite breakfast sandwich with all the comfort of a buttery croissant. We also tried the tea bun, apple fritter, and spinach and artichoke; all of them were delicious. The small customer area was crowded, noisy, and hot. The smells of the bakery and the listings of the unusual morning coffees are quite appealing. I would have liked to try the cheesecakes or the cupcakes, or the beautiful cakes.

All I can say is “WOW”! I am EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with the pastries here. I got the french onion, spinach artichoke dip, and earl grey orange pastries and each one was a PERFECT 10/10. The flavors were unique and perfectly balanced. The prices are on the high end at around $7 average so I judged harshly. Each one genuinely blew me away as I have never tasted anything like it. I came on a Saturday morning and it took me around 15 minutes to reach the front of the line. The parking lot is very small and crowded but I was able to find a spot. There are also a lot of designated/coned off parking spots for other businesses around, so be sure to double check. I will certainly be back!!

Tried a few pastries. Artichoke was great, wife said ham was yummy. Apple fritter was okay - reminded me of the ugly muffin by the old back door cafe in Silver Lake. It was a monday so we didn't have to stand in line for a lo g time. That sure was a plus.

I should clarify, this place is not one-star because it is the worst pastry shop. But when a place is as hyped and as expensive as this, you expect a higher standard of execution.
French Onion Croissant: full of slices of raw potato. Why is there potato in a French Onion-flavored pastry? For $7, raw potato is unacceptable.
Apple fritter: Disappointing. Mushy inside; would probably have a better texture if they made them flatter and wider, but as it is, it tastes like monkey bread. Very dense. In theory, using croissant scraps sounds great, but its so compacted it turns into a gummy lump. Better off getting a fritter from a mom-and-pop donut shop.
Spinach Artichoke croissant: this one was tasty.
Overall, even in-shop, each pastry piece looks inconsistently baked and handled carelessly. This place is all hype. Quality is not high or consistent enough to come back. On the plus side, the line moves fast.

Stellar!!! Buttery, crispy, fresh baked. Everything is delish!!! Only complaint is wacky orientation of line, register and drink pickup. They should consider taking drink orders where you pick them up currently, so it's ready when you make it to the register. Just a thought.

The pastries are fresh and pretty flavorful and the cinnamon roll was absolutely delicious but a little pricey.
The interior is not very big so it gets a little too crowded and the flow of traffic inside is not very good.
