I have been to this business around 5 times and it’s clear to me now that it’s not one worth visiting. The donuts are decent but not delicious. Twice I have been fortunate enough to interact with two kind employees. However, the three other times, I have had to interact with the older woman who may be the owner. Each time she has been very rude during our interactions. It’s such a quick exchange so it surprises me how unwelcome she has made me feel each visit. And I’m someone who expects very little from employees at these type of businesses.
At the end of the day, they put donuts of different types on the same tray. It can be difficult to see the ones at the back of the tray because of the poor lighting inside the cabinets. Today, I asked if the donut I picked out from the back was the only one of its kind they had. Instead of just saying they didn’t have any more, she stopped, placed her hands on her hips and glared at me directly before confirming no others were left.
It’s clear that I am not the type of customer she wants, so I will no longer be visiting this business.

This place has the best donuts ever. I’ve had donuts here for 37 years- and they never ever disappoint. Best glaze, best cake donuts. Wonderful, friendly owners.

The owner is super chill; however, his wife isn’t. She’ll charge you extra. If she’s behind the counter don’t buy anything.
They have the real pastry like cinnamon rolls

This family are just so fantastic. They are always so welcoming and kind to the high school kids, including my daughter, who come by from across the street. We really appreciate their kindness. Donuts are YUM!

Humble exterior but superior donuts ?. The classic glaze donut is remarkable. The cinnamon raisin bun and the apple fritters are superior. The coffee is standard but the owner and family make this place stand out.

When I first moved to SGV three years ago, I went on a quest to find my goto donut shop. I tried many in the area, but was fortunate to find this one in my backyard, but not originally on my radar because it’s on the other side of the 210 freeway. It’s a traditional donut shop, but their donuts, jalapeño croissant sandwiches, and apple fritters are done just right. Not all shops are created equal!
