Service was top notch. A very wide menu, Tacos was recommended by the server and she was right on. I did enjoy the fried one more than the grilled one. Atmosphere was great and made you want to stay longer. Picture is not the greatest,it doesn't really show anything spectacular. But the food was good.

You can enjoy gorgeous hamburgers here.I think they are not reasonable, a little bit expensive as hamburgers.But it's worth the price.The staff are very kind and friendly.

I went to this amazing restaurant today with my Brother. The waiters were absolutely amazing! The food was fantastic! This restaurant is beautifully located in Old Pasadena right near the Metro Gold Line. My brother and myself caught the Metro to the restaurant. So worth it! I definitely want to go back again! I LOVE this place!!

The Nashville hot chicken was so bomb!! It was crispy, spicy, and everything you'd expect. Our server Ashley was super cute and friendly. She overheard me mention that my watermelon margarita was a little too sweet so she brought me more Jalapeño tequila to even it out. Then it was just right and I got a great buzz. Will definitely come back the next time I'm in town

The 5 stars is just for the waitress, Hailey! She is so sweet and friendly, she knows the menu and has great recommendations, made the dining experience so wonderful. The Thai wings were amazing, the mai Thai drink was the best as well. Happy hour ends at 6 fyi, I was 16 minutes too late so take it from me. You’ll have a great time here, it’s better with a big group !!!

First visit and food is good, especially pear and blue cheese salad. Burgers were good but not as astounding as some claim. We shared a Lone Star burger. Update We came back again a year later and tried the Hi Brow burger and Barbeque crunch burger. Both were very good but messy - needs a bigger bun. Good milkshake too but expensive.
I only stopped here to escape the sun for a bit and have a drink at the bar; I ordered the Crown Southern Peach Lemonade which was great …however the bourbon bacon wings I received? Straight fire!!! It was a great suggestion on my server Ace’s behalf and he even mentioned the $1 Wing Wednesday they have every week since I couldn’t split between two flavors in my order- great way to get me back because simply put, I’ve been missing out! Don’t sleep on Slater’s!

Yes the food was good, but the service was not. We waited over an hour for food because their grill wasn’t working and then they brought us the wrong burgers. And when we asked about if it was possible to get our appetizer comped they were not nice about it and the manager ended up giving us 10% off the bill but then added a gratuity on top. Overall, it felt like the server and manager were not being reasonable and tried to trick us into thinking they’d given us a good deal. I will not be going back.

While I was staying in Pasadena for a couple days my friend and I decided to go grab some late dinner on Friday night. We decided on Slater's 50/50 because...bacon. we arrived at 9:55 and were immediately told that the kitchen closes at 10. We were sad that we'd have to locate another restaurant when we were told that, if we could order in 5 minutes, we'd be fine. We were up to the challenge! The only reason one might need more time would be because there are a lot of great sounding items featured. But picking out a couple of burgers was no problem. Four minutes later our order was in. Despite the last minute order, our food came out looking delicious. Both burgers were cooked to perfection and the fries hot and crisp. The bacon ketchup was an excellent addition to the meal. The waiter was attentive and kept our sodas topped off while we spent the next 90 minutes catching up. A wonderful experience. And all of this provided at the end of their day. Highly recommended.

Nashville Screaming Hot Chicken Sandwich is flavatown worthy! Staff busted their tails being short staffed but delivered drinks and eats within a very acceptable time because each staff member crossed roles and helped where was needed. As a waiter, Brian was amazing!!
