The food and drinks were excellent, the decorations are beautiful and the service is perfect. But the noise level is off the charts. There is so much ambient noise it is hard to hear the person sitting next to you.

My wife and I had an amazing experience at Smitty's. The food was very delicious (filet mignon, sourdough bread, corn bread muffins, baked potato, and fried chicken). Our waiter provided great customer service. We plan on returning in the future.

The overall experience was good. However, they must have been understaffed because it took about 30 minutes before our server asked us if we wanted a cocktail. We finally got our drinks 40 minutes after being seated. Crab cakes were so, so. Caesar salad was excellent, and our main dishes were very good. The delay in service was disappointing, but the high energy atmosphere and food were good enough to return.

So lucky to have this warm inviting home away from home close to our house. Always the first choice when inviting friends or family to dinner because I can count on good service and atmosphere. Love this place and have been a weekly diner for years. Not fond of the missing linen. Although the wood tables are lovely the look is BBQ steakhouse casual. And the sweat from beverages collectson the table top unless you use many cocktail napkins. We miss the former rich look.

It was our first time coming to Smitty's. The food & service was impeccable! The clam chowder, the cornbread, and the chicken piccata were some of the best I have ever had!

I have been to Smittys for years and set up many celebrations with coworkers. We were 5 of us that were seated in the small room and it was so loud. We were yelling at each other. There were empty tables outside but when asked the hostess said they were taken. They didn't seat anyone for over an hour in the back. On top of that the music was blaring. The waiter was too busy to pay attention and after the other party left the two servers were banging plates on the table and moving tables, resetting tables. It was complete chaos. Not sure why that had to be taken care of while we were still having dinner. Based on this past experience, I don't think I'll be coming back nor arranging client dinners here. Very disappointing.
