My first time at Sushi Enya, and it did not live up to the hype for us. Like others have said, rather than let the freshness of the seafood shine or impress with the quality of the sushi rice, muchbof the offerings was overpowered by sauce. In addition, the service was lackluster, particularly for a Japanese restaurant. The receptionist who greeted us was far from enthusiastic and simply pointed us to our table at the back of the restaurant rather than take us there. The waitress, while pleasant, didn't ever check on us and gave us the impression that it was OUR privilege to eat there. Osawa across the street, at approximately the same price point, beats Enya in every respect.

Always good every time. We usually get the sashimi plate, an appetizer or two, a roll, tea and everything tastes great, high quality food, the people are nice.

Guys, what’s with the chip-thin rolls? Honestly, it feels like a cheap marketing move to make you think you’re getting more for their overpriced sushi. Both rolls were completely overpowered by sauce. The service and atmosphere were great, but I wouldn’t come back. There are much better spots at this price point.

Sushi Enya is my husband and i’s favorite sushi spot. We come here every other month and order way too much. Everything is so fresh and delicious. They have all my favorites (halibut, snapper, mackerel, uni). The staff is wonderful and always very accommodating. Can’t wait to go back next!

The garlic edemame was delicious. My chef 1 roll was average. They brought the roll out before the edemame, so I wish it was timed a little better. The service is great.

Very large potions and we had a great server. Took very good care refilling drinks and answering questions. Food was all very quick and tasty! I highly recommend this place for their sushi!

The sushi at Enya is simply exceptional, showcasing the highest quality ingredients and artistry in presentation. Each dish is not only visually stunning but also a delight to the palate. The customer service here is top-notch; the staff is attentive, friendly, and always ready to make recommendations that enhance your dining experience.

Since its opening in Little Tokyo, we've become regulars at Enya and have always been impressed by the incredible teamwork and passion exhibited by the entire staff. The head chef, Hongfei Liu, is truly a culinary talent. His expertise and creativity shine through in every meal, and he has a remarkable ability to bring out the best in both his team and the dishes they prepare.

I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this location for anyone in search of an authentic and memorable sushi experience. You won’t be disappointed!

The food was good but not for the price. I understand that Enya sushi restaurants are pricey but the location in Little Tokyo is much better in service and fish quality in my opinion.

Enya used to be much better. Both food and service have gone downhill. Host and servers are rude. Food is decent, but not worth the price anymore. Plenty of better sushi options in Pasadena.

the hostess sat us outside in the cold. then got offended when we said we were cold and asked to be inside. this place has weirdo vibes.

Sushi Enya is hands down the best place for sushi rolls in Los Angeles. We stumbled upon it by accident about six years ago when another spot was too busy, and it’s since become our go-to family sushi destination—a title we don’t give lightly. The quality of the fish is always top-notch, and the flavors are consistently outstanding. One standout is the Cherry Blossom Roll (rice-less), which never fails to impress with its delicate, yet bold, combination of ingredients. It’s rare to find a place that consistently delivers both in taste and atmosphere, and Sushi Enya has earned our loyalty over the years. Whether it’s a casual dinner or a special occasion, it’s always a memorable experience.

Excellent food and service. Only negative is that restroom requires a key.
