I love everything we ordered! Their appetizer... garlic edamame and K Dak were so good!! By the the time our main meal arrived, we're almost full.

I was honestly taken aback by my veggie ramen experience here. Maybe it just wasn’t to my tastes or it was off that day because the other reviews here are really good. It tasted like a plain carton of vegetable broth and there was an ENTIRE raw onion thrown in there. The entire soup tasted like raw onion, no salt, no flavor, just raw onion. (You can see I pulled it out to the side in an attempt to eat it). If I made this at home I’d throw it out. ? Just because it’s vegetarian doesn’t mean it can’t be flavorful! The veggie tempura on the other hand was really yummy and the sushi is just okay. Thick cuts of fish and not super fresh tasting. I went on a Tuesday at dinner time. Total miss for me, sorry!!

Stopped in on a whim and accidentally found my new fav sushi spot in Pasadena. The fish was so fresh, the rolls were inventive and fun, and the sushi rice was perfect.

The sushi bar is just for looks; you can sit there but cannot order. The sushi was just ok; however, the gyoza were delicious. We'll probably try somewhere different next time.

My girlfriend and I recently visited Sushigah during a brief trip from San Diego, and we were thoroughly impressed. With high expectations for sushi, we found Sushigah to be exceptional. We began with a seaweed salad and Crispy Rice, followed by Salmon Sashimi, the Cucumber Special Roll, a Salmon Handroll, and a Spicy Salmon Roll.

Each dish was incredibly fresh and flavorful, with the salmon sashimi practically melting in our mouths. The temperature of the dishes was perfect, and the presentation was outstanding. Sushigah has definitely earned a spot as a must-visit destination for us whenever we're in Pasadena.

Mediocre sushi. If you are a person who is really passionate about sushi, you will be disappointed at this price point for this food.

Terrible dining experience despite reading good reviews. When I arrived for lunch, the restaurant was empty, yet the server refused to seat me at the table I preferred and instead placed me in a corner. There open table near the window by the bar that I preferred, but the server informed us it was reserved for "handicap use". We were seated at a corner table far from the kitchen, which made it difficult to get the server's attention. I had to go to the front several times to request more service, which was quite frustrating. To make matters worse, I noticed that another party was given the table I had requested. This felt discriminatory.

I was disappointed with the Gangnam Roll I ordered. It was wet, which made it difficult to enjoy, and the excessive sweetness left me questioning whether that really improves the flavor. The roll was soggy from too much sauce, and my rice roll was falling apart. The overwhelming sweetness and MSG made the dish quite hard to enjoy.

While the restaurant may be visually appealing and good for Instagram pictures, the overall experience was disappointing. There are definitely better places with better prices and far superior customer service.

I had a great experience yesterday: the roll tastes delicious, the sushi size is nice, and the shrimp tempura is super great! The place is cozy, and the staff is super friendly. I would love to come back ❤️

The best sushi restaurant in LA.
The sashimi sets and sushi are great value and very fresh. The bulgogi ramen is also deliciously spicy, so it’s a great combination. Recommended if you want to have a warm dinner in Pasadena.

(The parking lot is in the same building, so accessibility is great!)

They spray a copious amounts of odorous chlorine bleach based cleaning agent while patrons are eating! This is sushi, its delicate, and upon letting the server know that this spoils the experience the answer was a nonchalant - "we really have to clean. Next time let us know before and we will spray on paper..." The idea being that I should be on the lookout for bleach agents on the prowl. Argh, poor service all around.
