I love this place! They provide first-rate food, they have a nice menu, The cook in that restaurant is a specialist, I enjoy a lot eating all their food. The food is always of high qualtity, the attitude towards the guests is friendly. I frequently visit this restaurant and I was never discontended. I recommend this place.

Ike-san, say it isn't so! I really hope you open back up since there's no place like home. Seriously mourning our favorite sushi place. We miss you! There is only one Ike and he is the best. Please come back to us!

The meals and service were beyond my expectations. I absolutely enjoyed the ambience of this place. Excellent place to take the family out for dinner.

This spot never disappoints. They have good dishes for affordable pricing, there no long wait even when the place is busy.

Fantastic sushi here. We love coming here and ordering the omakase dinner to expand our palettes. The sushi chef's are friendly and chatty, and the clientele is made up of a lot of regulars which gives it an inviting feel. Since it's right next to the station we usually take the metro so we can drink and have a good time without worrying about a drive. We moved back from Japan a few years ago, and we discovered that most sushi in LA is drenched in sauces, hiding the true flavor of the fish. They would never do that here.

Exceptional fish and rice. One of the all-time great sushi places in LA. Check out this pic of toro; it tells you everything you need to know.

Excellent sushi. Friendly and attentive service (and Ike San came to say hi personally.) Thorough and strict safety protocols. This is the first and only place I've dined at since the lockdown started and it was a wonderful dining experience through and through. Worthy of a splurge! Hard to pick my favorite parts of this meal, but I loved the uni, toro, scallop, and hand roll the best. (Oh and they gave me mochi ice cream for my birthday! Sweet!)

I visit this place a lot since I work close by. I have to say their service is always awesome and they keep the spot well organized regularly. Rates are affordable and they serve sizeable portions.

It's good. There's better places in my opinion in the west side like Sasabune or Matsuhisa. The omakase is a good deal for the quality of fish. Nothing fancy, just high grade fresh cuts of blue fin tuna, hirame, hamachi, uni (when available), albacore, aji (when available). This is actually a better deal than Sugarfish and it's better quality.

Now open for in-person outdoor dining.

My husband and I had a lot of great memories here and is our favorite place to get omakase at! We did their $55 for 11 piece and 1 handroll omakase and it was delicious! I wanted to side order Uni and he said he will put it in the omakase (already $24 for 2 Uni sushi and he put it in our omakase ($55!)! Ike is so awesome and sweet over the phone. We picked it up (we brought our own ice pack and cooler bag) and we even re-toasted the eel sushi (BOMBBBB). They have 2 tables outdoors however they weren't being used when I came. I was able to snap a quick pic of the menu haha. Honestly the only sushi places I get takeout from is this place and sushi gen! They have such high quality sushi here! They are also very strict in COVID precautions which I LOVE!!!! They wear glove, masks, face guard and when you pick up you have to wait in a designated table (which is spaced out from other tables etc). They will always have my support!

I've been craving sushi for months now and decided to order take out from Kimagure--they did not disappoint! I ordered the 11 piece omakase and requested for no scallop and eel and they accommodated!I really appreciate how they set everything up for covid. Tables are spread out for people to dine outside. There are signs that tell you where to wait if you're doing take out (outside by a table so don't go inside). I'm glad they are trying to keep their employees and patrons safe.Their sushi presentation was very nice, tasted fresh, and hit the spot. Will definitely be returning!

Ike did not disappoint despite the obstacles of the Governor's shutdown. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the freshest fish and a bottle of sake! It was a very good dinner out!
