Came based off the reviews and wasn’t disappointed!
Solo diner on a Sunday late afternoon and the place was busy! Got a great table and had mixed tempura, Philadelphia roll and coconut roll. All of which was super delicious. I took half home in a to go box for snacks later.
Would highly recommend & be a regular if I was local.

This was the best sushi I had in a while. The Alaskan crab was delicious, so I definitely recommend that. Everything was so good. The one with onion rings on top was probably my favorite.

Sushi Gah delivers a top-tier sushi experience in Pasadena. The fish is incredibly fresh, expertly sliced, and served with just the right balance of rice and seasoning. I had the omakase and each course felt thoughtfully prepared and full of subtle, refined flavors.

The atmosphere is quiet and minimalist, perfect for focusing on the food. Staff are respectful, knowledgeable, and never rushed the experience. Prices are fair for the quality, and it’s clear the chefs take their craft seriously. A must-visit if you appreciate real sushi done right.

This is one of my regular spots. I’m a salmon lover, and there are plenty of tasty options on the menu. I love their new later hours too. Only complaint is the price is a tad much, but so are most other good sushi restaurants.

Note to owner- please either train your staff or hire new ones. I came in for the 2.99 sake during happy hour. Terrible service. No water filling , no questions answered. The young lady’s waitress spent time just flirting and laughing loudly with the guy instead of doing her job. And the guy had to do her job. She laughed and giggled and flirted with him for two hours and not even filling up water laughing extremely loudly and twirling in the restaurant- I had to ask the guy. To fill the water. The food is not bad. Maybe takeout is better- it’s an empty restaurant. I know why now. The waitress is not there to serve you food. The guy is professional but unfortunately he was not my server. Super nice udon and sushi rolls (Gangnam and Salmon rolls) that we ordered. They are seasoned exactly how I wanted. The staff were super friendly and welcoming.

Excellent sushi! The Mango Cha Cha roll was delicious! And the tuna and sea urchin sushis were buttery and melt in your mouth.

Did a random search for Sushi near me and it lead me to this great spot. Miso, sushi, beer and sake were all great along with the service. I liked it on my maps so I know how to get back there!

I ate here yesterday along with my mom, uncle and aunt. I ordered the Salomon bento with California roll instead of rice. I liked the server since she was kind, got us extra wasabi and an extra bowl and spoon and water. The music wasn’t too loud and it was enjoyable. The salmon wasn’t too tough and had the right flavor. I loved the salad and veggie tempura.
