We ordered the pecan pie for Thanksgiving. It was the best part of our meal!! I've gone through a lot of pecan pies in my life. Always disappointed that the crust doesn't have the right amount of salt to balance the sweetness or that sweet gooey stuff around the pecans is artificial tasting or the pecans don't taste right. This pie is perfect from start to finish. It's made with real butter which I can taste. The pecans seem to be just slightly roasted and there's lots of them. I'm so happy with this place. I'm ready to try their other products. We ordered online and everything worked out perfectly. There's a bit of a line out the door but you have to understand why. It's just really really good. I cannot eat a pecan pie from anywhere else at this point. Thank you, Susiecakes!!

The cake slices tasted and looked average, like they were from Costco, except three times the price Costco would offer.
Omg the cakes are delicious I've been eating leftover cake for 5 days and it still hits the spot the only thing is they don't take cash

I'm a huge fan of Susie Cakes and I'm very happy they have a location in Pasadena now. The staff at the location on Lake are always friendly. The whoopie pies are my absolute favorite - look out for those as they are not on the menu all the time but what a treat they are!

I won a gift card here and Ana was so helpful when I came to redeem it. My daughter is going to love the cupcakes! Cute cupcakes and cakes. Their cookie decorating kits are great too. Thank you, Susie Cakes!

Frosting to Cake ratio off.
Would be better with less frosting.
Frosting was gritty, and tasted chocolate power instead of chocolate.

Ordered two gorgeous cakes for my sister-in-law’s baby shower — one vintage style, one with daisies. Both pink, different flavors, and absolutely beautiful!
Emily was amazing from start to finish — helped me change my order with no hassle, gave great tips on when to serve and refrigerate, and even carried the cakes to my car with extra care. Thoughtful touches like adding an extra cake base really stood out.
Delicious cakes, stunning designs, and excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

Cute little store. Great customer service. 👌
A tad pricy on changing the color of frosting on a cake. Called it a specialty cake. That would be my only complaint.
Love Susie Cakes. ♥️

do you have a rude buster flavored cake
Absolutely delicious! Can’t go wrong with SusieCakes. Chocolate cake is my all time favorite. Perfect for chocolate lovers. This time I ordered a slice of celebration cake and did not disappoint. Very moist and the flavor was just right.
They also offer a variety of cupcakes.
Jaimie helped me out. Very nice and even offered us to try a different flavor cake.
Customer service A+
Store is clean. Cake display simple and clean.

I ordered a cake for my granddaughter’s birthday. She loves Elsa so we had Susie‘s make an Elsa cake. It was confetti, buttercream cake, which was absolutely delicious.
I came here after reading all the glowing reviews, and I’m super impressed by the service! I ordered the old-fashioned chocolate cake for my mom’s birthday kind of last minute, but SusieCakes had my order ready within 3 hours the same day. I also loved how easy it was to order online (just keep in mind that some orders do require advance notice, depending on the intricacy of the design).
The chocolate cake came beautifully decorated and was absolutely delicious. The inside was rich and decadent—digging into the chocolate cream felt like prying open a sponge, that’s how moist it was! While the buttercream on the outside was quite sweet, pairing it with coffee or tea helped balance out the sweetness.
Since the cake included some extra decorations and design work, the price was a bit higher but still fair—around $60. I ordered the 6-inch cake and thought it was more than enough to feed a family of four for several days.
Overall, I’m very pleased with SusieCakes and incredibly grateful they were able to accommodate my last-minute order. Please support small businesses like Susie’s—they truly deliver!
So classic and charming ✨💕🎂
While waiting to be seated at Granville next door, we decided to pop into SusieCakes since my daughter loves cupcakes (her first word was cake, after all). We ordered a chocolate vanilla cupcake, they bagged it up, and we headed back to lunch, telling our daughter she could enjoy it afterward.
After finishing our meal, we opened the bag only to find the wrong cupcake inside. A simple mistake, and we knew it was unintentional, but since a couple of hours had passed, my wife took it back to see if we could exchange it. The employee immediately apologized and, without hesitation, gave us not just the correct cupcake but an extra one on the house—plus, they let us keep the original one. Just outstanding customer service. We were only expecting a simple exchange, but they went out of their way to make it right, and we truly appreciated it.
And to top it all off, the cupcake was absolutely delicious! We’ll definitely be back.
The cupcakes were really good, but it’s a little expensive and also nobody was in the front for a few minutes when I got in. Somehow, the cake was much worse. The cupcakes are the best I’ve ever had tho, so I’d recommend those and try a slice of cake to see if you like it before buying a whole cake.
