We ordered the pecan pie for Thanksgiving. It was the best part of our meal!! I've gone through a lot of pecan pies in my life. Always disappointed that the crust doesn't have the right amount of salt to balance the sweetness or that sweet gooey stuff around the pecans is artificial tasting or the pecans don't taste right. I'm a huge fan of Susie Cakes and I'm very happy they have a location in Pasadena now. The staff at the location on Lake are always friendly. The whoopie pies are my absolute favorite - look out for those as they are not on the menu all the time but what a treat they are!
