Get an incredible loaf and get out. I drove up to go specifically here and was a little let down. Their book is nicer than the actual place.I guess I was picturing baking heaven, not an overpriced cafe & bakery. The rest is all delicious but it was $16 for a piece of toast and an avocado. I just feel like they could have given me 1 more piece of toast to make it a sandwich or scrape away some of the 10 avocados they put in this one piece of toast. Just felt bad and visually disappointing. The book and images online were so promising! The marketing for this place is good, they just didn’t live up to the hype.If I ever pass one, A Tartine Bakery, I’ll consider getting one of their incredible looking loaves, but I can get similar baked goods elsewhere and for less without sacrificing quality.Vegetarian options: They got options.Parking: Parked up the street and walked down the slight hill, plenty of spots on our Saturday around lunch.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of spots, although inside is tight!

Food and drink are fine. I reluctantly bought a $13 sandwich… tell me why after all the fees (health tax, employee support, etc) I paid over $25? And then tips on top of that? Tartine why don’t you just give your employees a fair pay instead of putting it on your customers? I will never be coming back because this practice is deceitful.

Tartine offers a couple vegan options. Both decent and good. Friendly staff who rang me up.

Ordered the turkey sandwich, found out too late that they gave me a ham and cheese instead. It wasn't very good either. The crescent was very good.

We were able to stop by yesterday during peak hours and man was the aroma of all the fresh breads and pastries just so inviting. Excellent service no matter how busy and plenty of fresh baked goods daily. Everything looked and smelled so good so we got an assortment of treats and devoured them.MY RECOMMENDATIONS (UNTIL I TRY MORE):- Morning Bun- Blueberry Scone- Pumpkin BreadI loved the sweet toasty outter layer of the pumpkin loaf! It's perfectly balanced in sweetness. The blueberry scone is just divine with a hint of lemon! And the morning bun your classic sweet cinabon with a nice toasty twist! All of these are a must try with your preferred coffee at any time of day.My next quest will be their dinning food :)

Stopped by to pick up an entire loaf of bread, but they don't offer cutting services. Whole Foods does. Instead, u can opt to buy the half loaf precut bread, which when you do the math, is 20% more expensive. Croissants are 6.75$ a pop! Automatic employee heath charge 4%, but also asks for a tip. They don't tell you up front, so if you're not paying attention, it sucks. Somehow, I still miss the SF location.I'll just go to WF nearby next time.

I got the Morning Bun here. It's still a good as the one I had in SF! The latte here is also decent. It's less of a line than the one in SF, so it's worth a try, at least. It is kind of expensive, but still good to see.

You come here for one thing and one thing only, their sourdough bread. Their sourdough is phenomenal, the best I have found outside of San Francisco. Super flavorful and moist. $8.75 for half a loaf.Their pastries suck they're not anything like the ones in San Francisco so don't get your hopes up. They're wildly overpriced, yeah I paid $18 for a tuna sandwich, just a plain old tuna sandwich, with hardly any tuna on it. Yup it was good, nope it wasn't worth the price. See my previous review for what I thought of the pastries.I also tried the lemon tart, which I remember being excellent in SF, and the filling was absolutely delicious, but the crust was too thick for my liking.

I was in the mood for a bagel when I came so I was in that realm of cheesy savory taste. The menus are secured to the front counter where you order so I felt pressured to pick fast. I ended up letting someone go ahead of me but felt like I was crowding them trying to look at the menu. They had a QR code but it didn't seem to work which the guy knew it was tricky. Wish they had paper menus or a menu earlier in line because there is a stress factor in the ordering process. I ordered a potato danish and it was SO good! Goat cheese, thyme and a tomato paste sauce inside. Full of unique flavor!Overall could come back to to try more things

I got the green goddess salad and matcha latte after taking a yoga class next door at YogaSix, and it was the perfect refreshing snack while I waited for the next yoga class! Filling yet light, and refreshing as well with the added dill, cucumbers and radishes. The staff was very friendly, and I love that you can see inside the bakery! And the outdoor seating is great this time of year to just relax.

This TARTINE location in Pasadena is located to the west of the truncated 100 Freeway, on the other side of bustling Old Town Pasadena. The vibe is certainly more relaxed and the free two-hour parking on the street certainly helps. There was no line to get in and no line to order. Shelves of their awesome bread are available. But once again, I got sidelined and got their Lemon Tart and their Seasonal Hand Pie, which happened to be apricot in October.Ugh... these pies are flawless as always. The crystal sugars coating ALL sides of the hand pie... the flaky flaky goodness... the apricot filling is awesome. The crust on their tarts are solid and holds up the filling very well... while still crumbles butterfully. The CORTADO is creamy and chocolatey.Sigh.... I'm ever so thankful Tartine decided to move south.

Finally got a chance to try a few of the pastries at Tartine and they did not disappoint! I got their sweet danish and a fruit tart and out of the two the fruit tart was my favorite! It was overflowing with fresh blueberries and raspberries, and the filling wasn't overly sweet. The sweet tart dough was not overly baked and complimented the cream filling. As for the sweet danish, the top was filled with a light cream cheese filling with abbot of passion fruit on top. There wasn't a lot of the filling which was a bit of a disappoint since it felt like I was eating mostly pastry. The pastry was super crispy but not burnt and had a light sugar glaze on top. Overall, the fruit tart was probably my favorite between the two. I would definitely come back to try their other pastries!
