Good but the amount they serve is not fair for the price.

The food was delicious and the staff were very kind and attentive. The only silly gimmick was the giant community table, which consumes so much floor space inside the restaurant. I'm guessing they might be able to fit in more patrons if it was all smaller seating. But, all in all, it is a nice place to dine in!

Careful. They may charge you extra for broth. Ramen did not come standard with broth, as ridiculous as that may sound. Be prepared to pay extra to make your ramen a ramen.

A decent choice for ramen in the area, if a bit overpriced. Easy lot parking, moderate amount of seating, clean and welcoming atmosphere. Friendly staff. Ordering is smooth and seamless with the kiosk. Food comes fast. I’ve tried ramen a few times from here, overall too salty for my taste, but it could be the soup base I ordered. The Birria ramen is a Mexican Asian fusion that’s creative, but I personally thought the flavors didn’t work well together. If you like strong flavors definitely try their soul (tonkotsu) ramen, it’s very rich and hearty.

Taste and s ok but overpriced. Need to pay extra for the condiments that usually come std in other ramen places. We also ordered the pork bun and the bun was dry. Would not go back.

Tatsu is yum. I've had the chicken ramen and the bold ramen. The chicken is a super rich broth, very very flavorful. You could get the cheeky ramen while sick, and cut the broth with a clear chicken stock to make it easier on the stomach while still getting the flavor and nutrients. Bold is more of a classic pork punchy spicy ramen. The first few times I got this ramen, the pork was cooked well and browned. The last time I got the Bold though, it wasn't cooked as well and the flavor was a little off. I'll still be going back as maybe it was just an off day, but that's what stops me from giving 5 stars as the consistency seems a little different. The way they pack their takeout is neat, service is quick. I also enjoy adding the bamboo shoots and extra egg to mine. They do a GREAT egg!

Man this place is a overpriced for what you get. $20, and you get barely a cup of broth for my takeout orders, like literally a cup (8oz). Not a very filling meal...Ordered tofu, got two small pieces. Overall paid $50 for two meager ramens and a side broth. What is going on, lol

I was very in between 3 and 4 stars for this review...I have been loyal to Tatsu Ramen for a while now. I always go to Sawtelle or Melrose, but they are always super busy and packed. Tatsu have also raised their prices tremendously over the years.I like this location because it's bigger, modern, and less wait times. There is also plenty of parking in the lot, unlike the other two locations. As far as food, I think something was missing. My bowl of ramen was kind of cold when I got it and I asked for "quite a quick" as my spice level. Unfortunately, my bowl of ramen was not spicy at all and there was a lot of oil sitting on top of my bowl. The menu is so simple, but you are able to customize the bowl to your liking. I like having this option. In addition, the seating is designed to be very open, which is great! I like how Tatsu is open late when I need a hot bowl of ramen at night, but I'll only come every now and then because it does not hit the spot all the time. It's not a bad spot, but if you want a more budget friendly ramen spot, you might have to skip on this.
