This was my first time to a tea room and I wasn't sure what to expect. The atmosphere was absolutely stunning, it felt like a garden Oasis. The service was excellent.. kind, friendly, patient, and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious as well. The desserts melted in my mouth, flavor combinations were paired beautifully, and I was stuffed halfway through the afternoon tea. Absolutely incredible experience and I will be making this a regular stop anytime I travel...
The sandwiches are all very fresh and flavorful, but my favorite ones are the curry chicken, egg with watercress, and the cucumber with cream cheese. I love the bread they use for most of their sandwiches because they hold up very well while maintaining the perfect balance of softness, sponginess, and firmness. They have a good variety of teas, but I fancy the fruity ones as they tend to have a hint of sweetness without the need for sugar. Now, let's talk about the ambiance...
