A great space that is dog friendly, clean, great service and overall wonderful atmosphere! Not sure what others are saying about bad service because people have been extremely friendly and kind.

Came in here for some drinks and while the coffee and matcha were good the service was not. The people working there kept looking at us with annoyed faces and didnt bother to say hello, have a good day or anything. No one was waiting in line to order or anything and the cashier looked annoyed.

Nice clean place. The seating is a bit awkward but the coffee is really great. Customer service was very lackluster. We came around 11AM on 5/27/24 and the taller barista with light hair took my order. She seemed so bothered by us and did not say “Hi” or “What can I get for you.” Really cold vibes in here. Will definitely not be back (even if the coffee was great).

While The Boy & The Bear – Coffee Roastery delivers on quality drinks—the iced salted caramel latte was enjoyable, and the espresso well-crafted—the experience was marred by an apparent lack of friendly customer service. Unfortunately, this will deter me from returning.

I worked as a barista in Australia for years and in my opinion this is the best coffee in the area if your tastes align with typical Aussie sensibilities. I buy their beans for my espresso machine at home and get flat whites in store. It's pretty much the only place I will spend money for prepared coffee in the area, the rest of the time I'll do it myself at home. A lot of folks go here to work so there will be people on their laptops around, and it's definitely focussed on coffee and has very little food, just two things to keep that in mind when deciding if it's what you're looking for.

Don’t bother - clogged up with laptop users meaning no atmosphere and nowhere to sit. Coffee was reasonable, but no better. Missed one drink off our order. Won’t be back until there’s a no laptop policy.
