My significant other and I treated ourselves to 90 minutes of normal at The George and strongly urge you to do the same! Food, truffle fries, pork cop and salmon all delicious! Angela was our server and she was attentive and charming! The atmosphere was a comforting refuge. So take a break and support The George and have a wonderful meal with family and friends!

This is a realllly great new restaurant that finally offers an alternative to Millie’s down the street for SUNDAY BRUNCH! Pancakes stack was really effin good, and it’s way quieter so you can actually hear your dining mates. Great vibe. Everything handmade and lots of locally sourced things on menu.

Very meh. Didn't know there would be a jazz combo so it was too noisy. They neglected to tell us the candied bacon would be covered in red chili seeds. They don't serve decaf coffee and the only got tea options were black tea or mint. The beignets were flat and like lead. Even though our waiter was kind enough to remove the bacon from our table, we will never be going back.

Came here for a company happy hour before a show on a Thursday evening. The drinks here are phenomenal and handcrafted it made it even better to see how much the bartender really enjoyed chatting with us and enjoyed making us drinks. We ordered all the appetizers and they were all awesome! My favorite was the Brussel Sprouts and French Fries. As for the main dishes they weren’t my favorite I tried the gnocchi and steak. Everything else plus wonderful live music made up for it tho!

My family made a reservation for 7:30 for 7 people. We came in a little early and were seated immediately which was nice. The ambiance was nice aside from the smokiness in the air, but unfortunately that was the least of our problems on this night. The food overall was not good. The Brussels sprouts were undercooked and flavorless, chili had a good spice but not much flavor otherwise, burger was charred when it was supposed to be well done, the iceberg lettuce was not cored and my brother’s sweet potato gnocchi was greasy, flavorless and was more like french fries. The flourless chocolate cake, charcuterie board and hummus were good though. As far as staff goes, the service was pretty good. As someone who has worked in a restaurant, I understand large parties can be difficult to tend to, but we all felt that our server seemed a little impatient. And lastly, after reading the reviews, I’ve found that the owner is immature and unprofessional. Seeing an owner respond by blaming the customer for the bad experience is utterly embarrassing and makes me further regret coming to this restaurant. I have seen 15 year olds with better customer service skills. Please do better. If you’re thinking about eating here, I would take the owners advice and go to Dennys.

Pretty gross food. The wild mushroom omelette was more like a giant cheese and garlic frittata folded in half. Almost no mushrooms - more cloves of garlic cut in half than wild mushrooms. (And do we really think these were foraged in the wild?)Turkey sandwich was one slice of turkey, iceberg lettuce and giant scoops of berry compote. Felt like a dish for a 6 year old, soooo sweet.Baby potatoes were nicely done and nicely seasoned. Bloody Mary thin

Trendy 21st century meets old Pasadena. I love the design and decor of this place. This is a great spot for orderves and drinks. The owner, is a solid guy who genuinely cares about the people around him, his restaurant and customers.Go support a good man!

We dined at their jazz brunch in spring 2023 and had a great time enjoying the music and food selections. Based on only this one visit, the food was much better than a typical brunch spot and the price was about the same so I would like to come again. I’d recommend getting a table early to be seated before the performance starts, in case it gets busier.
