The place is inside Kitchen United in Pasadena. They have a pretty extensive menu, from ramen, udon to rice bowl and fried items. Only ordered one dish and it took awhile to come out. But the carbonara udon was soooooo good. Asian style pasta is one of my favorites. The portion was kinda small to me though.

I had an extraordinary in this restaurant. We enjoyed the excellent vibes and the meals. The staff members were super welcoming. I am glad we eventually managed to visit this spot.

I've come here a total of 3 times so far, and each time, the food is pretty tasty. I got the vegetarian black garlic ramen which was ok, but I got their veggie tom yum twice. I think I would come back for their tom yum, because the flavor is delicious. There are big chunks of lemongrass, ginger in the soup to pick out, but the flavor is there! The spice level is also at least a medium. The veggies on top include corn, enoki, bean spouts, bok choy, and tofu on a plastic tray and it is arranged nicely. Then, the broth is in a plastic tub underneath that tray. You need to dump the veggies in the broth to mix. While that ruins the aesthetic of it all, it keeps the veggies fresh if you are taking it to go. For me, the ramen has come out at a decent time, but I haven't tried anything else besides ramen. Tokyo Riso is located in United Kitchen, and you need to order from a tablet and pay only with credit card. The overall establishment has it's issues, but Tokyo Riso itself is reasonably priced and tasty.

I ordered vegetable tempura with a side of karage this evening. The broccoli was very doughy (not completely cooked) on the inside, brown on the outside. The kabucha was undercooked, hard and still crunchy. I'm really disappointed that you guys don't know how to properly make tempura because I initially really liked your food. The first time I ordered vegetable tempura (a few months ago), it was delicious with a unique touch.

Came here since I saw there advertisement on fb and have buy one get one free promo. Service is really really slow. We waited 30 mins to get our food. The ramen is blah and the broth is to salty. I also ordered the poke bowl but I haven't tried it. This place concept is more a take out or delivery not a dine in type place but they do have tables and chairs. I don't think I will be coming back to this place.

Really slow service. We ordered two poke bowl and literally waited 20 minutes to get our food while there was no one ahead of us. The menu has great variety but our poke bowl was not impressive at all. Salmon was tiny and overloaded with toppings. If it is a machine order based system, I would expect everything to be super-efficient, sadly it was a mistake assuming that. Would not come back.

Meh service, average food and stale environment. I stopped by United Kitchen because I was attending a conference close to it. I was intrigued by the concept of having multiple restaurants in one location. To some people, the minimalistic decor may appeal to you but it did not for me. The walls were white and honestly really boring. There was noting memorable about the space at all. It took about 20 minutes for me to receive my Unagi bowl. There were people in front of me that got their food before me. I felt like the three sauces included were unnecessary, two at the most would've been sufficient. The food was ok, nothing out of the ordinary. I paid extra for sushi rice and my total was about $18. Would I come back? No. There's plenty of other options to explore and I'm sure there better Japanese places.

I had a chance to swing by for a sampling provided free of charge by the restaurant. This five star review does not reflect the free food, but instead the quality of the dishes. I have had plenty of free meals in the past from restaurants that I do not plan on visiting again. However each dish that I tried from this restaurant was clean and fresh tasting and gave me the urge to come back for more. I am a carnivore at heart, so their vegan offerings had me pleasantly surprised! The green tea soba salad is a must-get as well as the Using Pad Tai Vegan. I'll definitely be coming back!

I'm Chinese and I love the Miso chicken here so much!! It's simply made with love. Rich layers of flavor! Also try the soba salad! It has avocado and the sweet sour sauce was just so on point!

I got the salmon poke bowl and it was super delicious! Loved the spiralized cucumber - it just made it more fun and visually appealing to eat. The salmon tasted fresh and there were tons of veggies. Would definitely revisit this place to try other items and also other restaurants.

What an amazing idea! Multiple kitchens available in one location. Poke bowl, Mediterranean, confirms food, or açaí bowls! This is the spot! No need to go to over priced Urth Cafe across the street, come here! Been here two days in a row, two different foods and loving it! Day 1: poke bowl, great serving of protein, fresh taste, not fishy, and flavor popping! Day 2: kale & matcha fruit bowl, soo bomb! Felt light, got energized right after. Day 3: hmmmm I'll should find out today

Why pay the same amount of money as it would cost at the actual restaurant without any of the atmosphere? Markup way too high considering the reduced staff, square footage, tables etc of an actual restaurant.

Tokyo Riso is actually 5 different restaurants under one roof. There's also Canter's Deli, Southern comfort food, Mama Musubi, and Halal guys. There's ample street parking and a public parking across the street from the restaurant. My brother told me about this place, so I was eager to try it. Fortunately, the food was delicious. I got the grilled salmon plate, which is under poke bowls in case you were going to order the same thing. I got it with brown rice and miso sauce. I'm so grateful to find a new restaurant nearby that is convenient, healthy, and delicious. By the way, you order the food by kiosks inside the restaurant and it is credit card only. It took about 15 minutes to get my food, which is good, and frankily there's not many seats inside the restaurant, so you're going to most likely get your food to go. Please support this business.
