This place is a Pasadena tradition. It's a good, old school, Char-Broiled burger stand. But it's also one of the best in the San Gabriel valley. It's got a great array of burgers, burritos, sandwiches, breakfast, and sides. Prices are very reasonable, service solid. There's nothing special about this place, it's just.. tops.

I been coming here for years and even though I live very far I drive out here once in a while to enjoy some delicious Tops Burger. I love the bacon avocado cheeseburger they are excellent. The fried zucchinis are also great. The carne asada burritos, and much more. I like the ranch dressing is great, pickled carrots, chilli peppers and the ice they use for the drinks really make them enjoyable. The people there are like family they really take care of the costumers and that’s what makes this place very special.

They are a bit in on the pricey side, but great food!
My husband loves pastrami sandwiches, he knows what he likes. The pastrami on his sandwich was piled high and juicy, the juice was dripping it was so tender. My husband enjoyed every bite, I had a carne asada and shrimp taco, both were very filling and didn’t disappoint with the protein, sitting on a bed of cabbage and pico de gallo it came with a lemon slice and green sauce. Very filling, I would have been satisfied with one, but it was hard to decide on which one I wanted.

Had a becon cheese burger (great! ) highly recommend food is good everytime I go
I come here fairly often because the food is so delicious. I have gotten a few sandwiches before, breakfast items as well BUT my very favorite thing is the fried zucchini and I'm now on a fried zucchini binge. I can't help it! They are perfectly crisp on the outside and tender inside. The portions are HUGE and I always have leftovers. Just writing this review makes me want to go over there and get some again. YUM!!!
