The lovely lady who took our order is French, and it appears this cafe is true to its French title. A wide variety of loose leaf teas and the coffee was good as well. We got the salmon quiche, salmon crepe, and nutella crepe. The quiche was my favorite and came with a side salad that had a nicely balanced dressing. The crepes were also great, I appreciated the perfect texture of the salmon crepe. The Nutella crepe also meets high expectations. Limited indoor seating, but there is outdoor seating as well in the car-free alley. The decor is just fine for a local spot, I find the luxury bags a bit tacky but I'm sure that it is some else's cup of tea.

Nice croissant but the coffee was not well made. Great menu and the breakfast we saw others eating looked great.

Fairly disappointed in the food. Flavours were overall bland, portion size doesn't match the price you pay, and the area is quite cramped for a sit down cafe. For 2 quiches and water, the bill came out to $60 with tip. Thats a bit extreme for a quiche about the size of a mini English muffin.

We were on vacation in Pasadena and I felt I couldn't leave without trying the food at this place. WE LOVED IT! Everything was very fresh and authentically French! 100% recommended, different, unique, and delicious. We paid $57 and felt it was well worth it.

$115 for a mediocre croque monsieur and a super dry / hard sandwich, 2 juices, a beer and mediocre coffee. I feel like I’m paying to learn a lesson about the value of money.

Such a cute French cafe! We were visiting Old Pasadena and this place was recommended by a local couple, so we decided to try it. The owner was very welcoming and explained everything on the menu. She even offered vegetarian alternatives.
The food was really good. We tried the avocado toast, croissant sandwich, and a pesto chicken sandwich. Out of the three, the pesto sandwich was the best and most savoury.
The service was great and there was no wait.

Small interior seating area but plenty of room outside. I wish my French was better so I could converse with the owner in her native tongue. Love the food and the coffees.
