I've eaten here few times and have always enjoyed it. Consistently good pasta cooked just the way I like it.
I also really like their beef tartare and that they just include a 16% service charge into the bill automatically.

Every food item we ordered was over salty and heavy.

Freshest and best pasta everrrrr!!!
Don’t miss this one and be patient because it’s first cum first serve.
Assure you it’s worth the wait!

Like every UOVO, this one was excellent. Decent parking nearby. Always reasonably priced for how delicious the food is.

Great dining experience. We shared the cheese & truffle tasting menu and it was reasonably priced (about $80 for an appetizer, three pasta dishes, and dessert to be shared by two people). Every dish was delicious. My favorite was the tagliatelle in truffle sauce.
There was a bit of a wait time between each pasta coming out, but understandably so as each dish is made fresh. It was fun to watch the pasta get cooked in front of us from the counter seats! The servers were very friendly and knowledgeable as well.
It’s also worth noting that Uovo is a no-tipping establishment. They simply add a 16% service fee to your bill. I thought this was an interesting but reasonable policy.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience here and would love to return to try more of their menu items.

The perfect portion, good flavor, fast service.

We knew the bar experience would be rushed, but this was exceptionally rushed. The food, made in front of you, is great—no mistakes, and they are careful. I love the idea of pasta traveling all the way from Italy to LA. I also appreciate this place's no-tipping culture (Note: 16% is added to the tab, kind of replacing that).

The bar was a bit loud and tight, where you are touching people sitting next to you.

Overall, the food was good, and I will come back again.

They got me with their “fresh pasta from Italy made with special eggs for pasta”… the service was attentive almost annoying to a point. Menu selection could have been better, appetizers consist of raw fish, raw meat or a salad. You are essentially paying $20 for a fist full size of pasta. No garnish, no condiments, NO bread, no sprinkles of Parmesan. Cauliflower was good. We did not do the tasting menu, they seemed to all be similar dishes. Tiramisu was good. Since bologna is known for gelato Some gelato offerings would have been nice. Chianti was horrible, Left feeling unfulfilled. I doubt this is how a traditional Italian restaurant would want their customers feeling like when they left. Still ended up being around 100 for 2 people. We were not aware of the “no tipping” so we tipped. Yes the pasta was good, but value of meal wasn’t there. I guess they think importing pasta is enough.

Parking: They validated but when we put our ticket into the machine it still cost money for an 90 minute dinner

I want to give this place a better review so will come back but the first time was meh. Long wait so decided to do to-go & sit in the court yard. Their to-go menu has a couple less options (and understandably, you can’t to-go the tasting menu). Got the pomodoro and…it was meh. I know pomodoro inherently is just tomato but for $17 at a cute, vibey but still not fine dining place, basic tomato pasta for that much just didn’t hit it. I wish they had more veggie pastas (was eyeing one that unfortunately they don’t do to-go). Side dishes were very flavorful though (mushrooms and broccolini). Reading the other reviews about the hand made pasta flown in daily from Italy is also a bit bizarre - seems like a big carbon footprint for recipes that can be made just as well & more fresh in-house. Will go back to dine-in and try the other options though.

The service was average for a place that adds in automatic gratuity. The food was very fresh and delicious. Wine variety was subpar.

I came here for a belated bday dinner. I was sold on the tasting menu when I had viewed menu online. However, In person, I was not blown away. I expected the "fresh pasta flown in daily" to be noticeable in flavor, but It didnt gave me any wow factor. The stools at the bar are not comfy and are difficult for someone on the bigger size in the bottom. I would come here to try again, but I would not get the tasting menu again. The Decor is cute and the overall vibe was there.
