Bought a cake for a going away party for my coworker who moved to Texas. The cake was exactly what I asked for. I had to pickup the cake at a store-front. The store-front is a cafe that belongs to a different business that is partnering with this baker. You have to go inside and let them know you are there to pickup your cake. The cafe store-frint sells good food and drink too, and the customer service was excellent.

Store is now ONLINE ONLY!!! A restaurant called Art Lunch is now at this location, though they also sell some baked goods by Valentine’s. I loved the cafe and miss it so much 💔

They made a mistake with my order despite several communication attempts I made ahead of time to confirm what we wanted. Morning of the event day, I called to coordinate pickup and only then was I told by the owner that they would not have the flavors I requested. He kept trying to push other flavors as replacements, even though I tried explaining those would not work for our guests and our theme. I ended up having to scramble around just hours before our event trying to find other dessert options. It caused unnecessary stress. Would recommend business to improve their system for order fulfillment.

This is the cutest place!! The merengue cake was so light and airy and not too sweet, so it was the perfect little dessert that you enjoy eating while not feeling gross afterwards! The service was so nice and I would LOVE to come again.

Ordered a birthday cake and cupcakes for my toddler, provided them with all the details and still received a cake and cupcakes with a wrong filling, instead of strawberry filling and cream a strawberry jam, in the middle of the summer .

Overall we didn’t like neither the cake nor cupcakes, everything was overly sweet, biscuit was very dry and unpleasant to chew, rubber like.
Guests tried one bit, and stopped, had to throw it away, same with cupcakes.

Good thing? Cake and cupcakes looked really good and matched the visual shared with them.

Communication: these is a very unorganized business, slow communication, never got back to me to provide any resolution to situation. Ordering a cake via message took hours, considering I have provided them all the details, while it should have been a 5min conversation.

Also, cupcakes look just as new after 4 days ( 3 days in fridge and 1 day outside). Not sure how it’s possible if they are really using organic ingredients and don’t add anything to prolong shelf life.

Horrible service. If you can’t do a job right don’t do it AT ALL!!! I placed an order for a shrek vintage theme graduation cake 4”. I requested a callback to provide more details for the cake no one ever called me I had to call multiple times and still they seemed to not care about what I wanted. It was almost the day of the graduation, I called to confirm pickup and they sounded so surprised they had an order. The day of pick up came around they asked me to come to the bakery 9am-10am. It was 10:40am when they decided to arrive to give me the cake. First of all it looked NOTHING like what I requested the cake to look like. Second of all the cake tasted so bad & they didn’t even give me the flavors I asked for, the flavor of the frosting they put was mint!!
How could they get this so wrong?! What makes me even more mad, upset, and frustrated is if you look through their photo reviews and instagram you can see that they are CAPABLE of making a vintage style cake the way I wanted but chose to give me this poor horrible quality cake.
They just decided to put zero effort for my cake. I had to pay someone else last minute to fix my cake. My advice DONT EVER shop here.

I ordered a small cake as a "smash cake" for my son's first birthday. I had photos from Pinterest that I wanted to share to explain my preferred design, so I requested a callback/email in the order form to confirm my design. I never received a callback or email over the next few days, so I reached out via email to send over my design preferences, including photos to indicate the color scheme and design concept. I received a confirmation that my cake would be ready at my requested pickup time, and the person who responded said she would confirm the design with the cake decorator (this was confirmed the Tuesday before the party, which was to take place on Saturday). I never received a confirmation after that of the design; I emailed again on Thursday to ask if the decorator confirmed the design, to which I received no response.
When I arrived on Saturday morning to pick up the cake, I was about 15 minutes late; the website seems to indicate that there is a functioning storefront, so I assumed that it wouldn't be a problem for me to be slightly late - I figured I would just walk in and give my name, and someone would hand me the cake. When I walked up to the storefront, it was closed and the lights were off, and there was equipment all throughout the space - it was clearly not an operational storefront. There was a number on the door to call for order pickup; I called, and the man who answered said he would check to "see if anyone was there". Apparently the person who was there to meet me for pickup had gone out - without calling me to check if I was coming or to let me know that she needed to run out. If I'd known I needed to meet someone instead of just walking into the open storefront, I would've been able to plan better or send someone else to make sure it was picked up on time. Because none of this was communicated, I had to wait 20 more minutes (with the party starting in a couple of hours) for someone to arrive to unlock and hand me the cake.
Once I got the cake, I looked at it, and it was nowhere close to the design I requested. I had requested a yellow cake with different colored balloons up the sides and the word "one" in letters on the top; the cake I received was a very bland cream color, with piping and sparkly stars on the top. I ran back and asked if he mistakenly gave me the wrong cake. He looked all around and saw no other cakes; he found the email I had sent and concluded that the decorator was never given instructions for the design I requested. He apologized and offered me a partial refund, which I accepted.
After reflecting on the whole experience, I emailed to explain my dissatisfaction with the experience and how things were not handled in the way I was told they would be. I requested a refund of the remaining amount I had paid for the cake, as it was so completely opposite to my original order. I followed up multiple times over the next few weeks and was essentially ghosted - never got a response or a refund. Honestly, it would've been better if someone would have at least just responded, even if they weren't willing to refund me. But the complete lack of response feels really unprofessional and frustrating. I was excited to order a cake from a place that uses organic ingredients and is allergy friendly, but my advice to anyone ordering is to just be really on top of it to make sure you're getting the design you want and maybe set up the pickup time to give you LOTS of wiggle room if something goes wrong. I'm really disappointed but sharing this review in the hope this doesn't happen to others in the same way.

Please update your info. Saw the great reviews online and decided to drive 30 min. Sadly they were closed. Shop is no longer in person. Definitely a big disappointment!

The cutest little bakery with a fun atmosphere. They obviously care about quality ingredients. I’ve ordered a couple of cakes from them and they were beautiful and tasted great. I will order from them again because their customer service is excellent.

Vardan greeted me with a warm and amicable feeling. I felt comfortable and welcomed in this site. It's a nice and fairly great gem in this city. I'll definitely come and pay more visits here, whenever I'm in Pasadena.

I'm visiting from out of town and was excited to fine a gluten free bakery near my hotel. I showed up at 9am on Saturday and they were not open. I waited 10minutes and finally got the attention of an employee who didn't know when they would be open and kept saying she had no food ready. Horrible service, why have business hours at all if you won't keep to them.
