First time visiting of the Ex-Star News building. Love the Double Americano but bit strong for me. Burrito with steak was savory and great combination with pickled onions and peppers.

Tiny mediocre burritos served in a depressing, thrown together storefront inside a former bank. Designed to have as little human interaction add possible. It feels like eating inside ones of those pop up discount bookstores that show up when a big lots goes out of business.

They used to have amazing vegan burritos but took them off the menu :( It used to be a great place to go for both vegan/vegetarians and meat-eaters and I really miss it.
In general: really tasty, small portions for the price, not a great place to sit down and talk, but good for take-out. PLEASE bring back the vegan burritos!
Idk why this place is not higher rated! Best breakfast burritos in LA hands down!!!!

I was really excited to try this place, breakfast burritos are my favorite. The burrito tasted great but the portion was smaller than expected, and customization options were limited. The biggest letdown was the atmosphere: zero personality, very whitewashed, grab-and-go vibes. Total renter’s special. It completely killed the experience. This isn’t a brunch spot or a place for groups, strictly pick up and leave.

So the burrito is definitely good. That said, I'm not sure id pay that for the portion they give you for the burrito

If your burrito experience envisions eating a tiny over priced burrito in a cold all white cavern this is your place. L.A.,is burrito heaven, unfortunately this place is where burritos go on ozempic. “Sauce” was sweet and pureed, why? Staff is nice.

A vegetarian burrito (cheapest option) and an oat latte will set you back $20, tip included. The prices include trip but are pretty high considering the small portions. The burrito is very small as well as the coffee. In fact I have never gotten such a small iced coffee anywhere else.
The burrito is very tasty though and the tortilla tastes better than at any other place. The coffe is just ok… I would definitely not come here for the coffe.
The building is really cool on the inside and has great potential to be amazing. Right now it is too sparse.

This place is expensive BUT I would say worth it.
There are so many other places that have similar pricing and bland food. This place knows how to make a good burrito. The textures in the burrito hit every time. I always get the steak burrito. And recently, I tried their vanilla iced latte and I had to buy another one to go bc of how much I loved it. And I hate flavored lattes.
I believe when I first started going there the employees mentioned that their prices are a bit high bc tip is already included in the pricing somehow? I’m not sure but a majority of the employees are really nice which is also a plus.
The environment is a little off. I believe it was a bank previously. There’s a projector up top and some black stains. Their kitchen seems huge compared to the space for customers. The seating doesn’t really match. And it can get a little warm in there. But too be honest, with the food being good and the employees being nice, I couldn’t care less about an appearance as long as it’s clean.

Food: crunchy bacon breakfast burrito with crispy hash browns inside. The flour tortilla is soft and has a nice chewy texture to it. I do wish the burrito is bigger for the $18 price they charged.
Service: quick and easy order process at register and pick up on the side.
Atmosphere: plenty of interior space with lots of tables and chairs.
