Winchell's Donut House

I ordered 2 dozen glazed donuts 2 days ahead via the website, when I arrived they handed me the boxes with no comment. Checked them in the car, not only did they replace some of the glazed donuts with other bars, they also shorted me 4 donuts. When I brought them back inside they apologized and said they ran out - except I pointed out most of a tray in the display! Also, why order ahead if you're not going to make the order? They had plenty of time to set these aside.

They said sorry a bunch and replaced them, I should have double checked again, got home still 1 donut short :/ also these were probably the worst Winchell's donuts I've had, stale and with the glaze all beat up and soggy.

Very disappointing, won't rely on Winchell's for future parties.

During my visit, the staff member who attended me in the morning was very rude and appeared to have an unpleasant attitude, even though we had never met before. Her behavior made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
Additionally, the turkey sandwich I was served was very poor in quality, and I did not receive my coffee until I specifically asked for it.
Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I felt the service was unprofessional. I hope this issue can be addressed to improve customer experience

Best and reliable place to get great donuts, hot chocolate, and food. Id say the best items are hot chocolate, a bage sausage sandwich, and any donut.

Don’t bother getting your breakfast here. I asked for three chicken avocado sandwiches. I got three turkey ham sandwiches and they refused to remake them. All the wrong bagel type too.

Got some donuts & coffee. Yummy as usual. I always stop by when I visit L.A.

This Winchell's has been there since I was a kid and the donuts are still delicious.

Reasonable price and decent coffee.

The cashier (6:30-6:45 weekdays is when I’ve gone) very literally chooses which order to serve customers. I stood in line today for five minutes, other days it’s been faster (but only because someone from the back comes to help the cashier). She (presumably), points to the person she’s decided to serve or decides someone else should serve. My normal take is to simply say that the person in front of me was next or to step forward to order. Today, I had stepped to the register, was asked to wait and then two others were that had just walked in were served. That was the last straw. It is already a trial to get in the door, with all the customers with coffee and pastry in hand, talking about work near the door and throughout the lot, being told to wait until they decide I’m worthy of spending my money— I’ll pass. I’ll start going to Winchell’s on Lake or even better, a Mom and Pop closer to work.

The food, bread and drinks are very delicious. Although frapes seem sweet to me. Delicious bagels and a great variety. Fresh ingredients and they make bread right there
Today I ordered Turkey bagel with avocado and it was super delicious. I liked their dressing and garlic bread. It is in a small square and there is free parking. They have a table with the calories of each product (I liked that) The place is simple, I would put a little more decoration on it ?and the service is normal, I'm used to the warm service of Mexico then ?.
