After dining here, we had a wild idea of having our wedding at this restaurant because we wanted to share the amazing food, drinks & people here with our family & friends. Yakiya lived up to the hype & made it happen, Christian & his team showed us that they're much more than a restaurant, capable of handling all the challenges of a wedding reception + guarantee amazing food that blew everyone away. Thank you everyone for your amazing work.

The food is excellent, but the food portion is just too small. It is pricey too.

Advantages, super delicious.
Disadvantages: The hall has serious echoes and is extremely noisy. You have to shout when talking to your neighbors during meals.

We had a great time here for my friend's birthday. We had the back room for our whole party. Ive been to the hacienda heights location a few times and this experience at Pasadena has been the best so far.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Yakiya restaurant which left me utterly impressed. Despite the higher price point, every dish in the 15-course prefixed menu was a revelation of flavors and culinary mastery. Each course was meticulously crafted, showcasing the chef's expertise and dedication to quality ingredients.

The service was exemplary; Lester, our server, deserves special commendation. Despite the restaurant being busy, he managed everything with grace and ensured that our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. His attentiveness and knowledge added to the overall charm of the evening.

From the first bite to the last, every aspect of this dining experience was top-notch. If you're looking to indulge in authentic Japanese cuisine with impeccable service, this restaurant is a must-visit.

This is the most unique and best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. I had a 15 course dinner that was absolutely perfect. They should have at least one Michelin star. The courses are different than I’ve ever eaten in any similar restaurant.

Yakiya at Pasadena continues to deliver an unparalleled dining experience, echoing the excellence of its sister location. With a pre-fixe menu that promises culinary delight for every palate, this restaurant remains a go-to destination for special occasions.

While the quality of the food remains impeccable, it's worth noting that the prices have seen a slight increase. Nevertheless, considering the exceptional dining experience offered, it's a worthwhile investment for those seeking to celebrate in style.

During my visit, each dish surpassed expectations, showcasing a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. The wagyu with egg dish stood out as a personal favorite, elevating the dining experience to new heights. And let's not forget about dessert – the white chocolate with matcha filling was nothing short of sublime. Its delicate balance of sweetness and earthy notes provided the perfect conclusion to a fine dining extravaganza.

However, one aspect of the dining experience that could be improved is the atmosphere. The restaurant's lively ambiance, while adding to the energy of the space, also contributed to a significant noise level. This made conversation with fellow diners challenging at times, particularly for those seated across from each other.

We went in tonight for our son’s birthday. Upon arrival, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was so comfortable. Our server, Jordan, was so incredibly welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious. At the end of the dinner, one of the managers, TJ, came out and talked to us. The entire experience was amazing and I would totally recommend!

Super cute special occasion place. The food was fantastic. It is a pre fix menu for $128 per person. Everything that came to our table was delicious. It was our wedding anniversary and they even gave us a special treat at the end of our meal. They have an extensive bar menu with lots of high end alcohols that are fairly priced. My husband ordered a $90 pour of Hibiki 17 that is his favorite. They also have a selection of wines by the glass that were delightful.Overall we had a wonderful experience and I would recommend it for a special night out.
