definitely need to come back to try the rest of their options (:the original pancakes have a light sweet taste (like a hush puppy), they also have an red bean pancake option but i’m a passionate red bean hater so i passed on that the strawberry milk frappe was a little bit on the tangier side as well as more on the watery side. i had expected it to be thicker consistency since frappes tend to be thicker liquid but i did get it with almond milk rather than the regular milk ? other than that, it was still consumablegreen grape snow top tasted like world peace ? ? ?it tasted like natural grape and not the artificial kind that you taste in juice or soda and was surprisingly not sour?i did prefer this one over the strawberry milk frappe ?it is a bit of a tiny shop so i don’t recommend going inside during packed hours (weekends) if you’re claustrophobic or just hate human interactionthe cashier was very sweet !my total was around $22Dietary restrictions: have different milk options for those who are weak like me and will explode if having lactose milk ?Parking: on fair oaks there’s a parking garage garage where the first two hours is only $1 (:

The mango sago is extremely sweet and overhyped. I ordered a taro and asked if they could blend it and it's not your typical taro. The place is small and cozy and has room to sit and enjoy.

Popped in for some milk tea after shopping. There are so many flavors, and it was just too difficult to choose. So I opted for a Matcha snow top milk tea. The Matcha powder is quite prominent, which is good and I had it with oat milk and half the sugar trying to be healthy here. But I did add almond jelly to it, which was interesting because I couldn't get it sucked up into the straw. I'd have to try their other drinks on the menu to have a better idea of the variety they offer. The guy at the counter was helpful and pointing out their most popular drinks. I love the pineapple wall installation that lights up from behind and the place is pretty clean. Not a bad spot to come in for a quick drink.

I was thirsty while shopping in Old Town and passed by this place. I love fruit teas so I was excited to try it. I ordered a lychee tea but I’m sad to say it was not good at all, especially for $6. It barely tasted like lychee—it just had a generic sugary fruit taste and despite being thirsty I did not finish it. Maybe their other flavors are better but I don’t recommend the lychee.

They were rude when asked about the contents of a drink. My wifes drink was also super sweet (Even though we asked for 25%).

Ordered mountain tea yakult with 30% sugar and ittaste like 100% sugar. I took 3 sips and had to trash it. It was uncomfortably sweet. I asked if the taro latte had fresh taro in it and if so, can we leave the fresh taro out, as my mom doesn't like taro chunks and the response was "if you don't like it, order something else". My question was never answered. Giving two stars because they had some space to sit with a cute pineapple decor on the wall.

Always consistent. Got the grass jelly tea this time. Very refreshing. The Pasadena location is pretty large. But limited indoor seating. There's 2 tables and some bar seating. Quick with the order and service so that's nice. I've also had the mango sago. Which is divine. So tasty. Very worth it in terms of flavor. As with everything else now, it's all very expensive for what you get.

Yifang had some new drinks on their menu that I wanted to try (exciting!).Sea salt mango smoothie (30% sugar): I substituted almond milk, while keeping the regular milk based sea salt cream. Definitely a new favorite!! I loved the sweet and salty combo. Nice chunks of mango, great flavor. Crystal mango latte (30% sugar): My partner substituted the whole milk with soy and omitted the boba. Overall, not bad! Might try almond milk next time, as soy has a distinct flavor. Still good mango flavor. Service was great. We got our drinks quickly and inside had some areas to sit and hang out. Street parking didn't look too bad, but if you don't like parallel parking, just pick a lot and walk. We'll be back when we're in the area again~

The service is inconsiderate and the price is expensive. Not worth the money. Cost $1. It tastes terrible and not worth it.

There's metered street parking or the cheap public parking structure really close by. The entrance is tucked into a mini alley. There's some seating here but I would recommend small groups. This place was relatively clean. The menu was a bit overwhelming at first with all the pictures and mini texts. They have a wide variety of drinks. I chose the bestseller, Mango Pomelo Sago, and it definitely did not disappoint. It was packed with all 3 fresh ingredients. The mango made it perfectly sweet and the pomelo with the right amount of tart. And it was packed to the brim with sago. Every sip, I tasted everything. Would highly recommend coming here!

After having a wonderful dim sum lunch at Chef Tony's Dim Sum in Pasadena, my daughters and I walked over to Hello Gelato to get ourselves some yummy gelato (will do a separate review for that one). Right afterwards, we wanted to entertain some boba drinks. Well, to our surprise, right across from Hello Gelato, we saw YiFang Taiwan Fruit Tea shop. I have never been to one so why not... we can definitely take a break from boba drinks LOL.Upon entry, I was intrigued by the big pineapple art on the wall. I wondered what it signifies so I asked the lady who took our order... she didn't know. Anyway, I asked for some recommendations and was informed the Mango Pomelo Sago and YiFang Fruit Tea are popular and that's what we got. Mango Pomelo Sago had great substance... real mangos, real pomelo (cousin to the grapefruit IMHO LOL), and real sago... so very good... I will definitely get again. As for the YiFang Fruit Tea, it was okay. I thought it lacked some sweetness (maybe because it was at 50% sweetness per recommendation... better go with 100% next time LOL) and fruit flavors weren't all there... I probably won't buy again or maybe I will to try at 100%. Staff was nice. Prices are a tad higher, but we are getting fruit teas made with fresh ingredients... prices justified! Shop has great open space. There are some bar stool seating along side the window and a small table off to the side near entrance LOL.Well, you know I had to look it up as my curious mind wants to know...Per Google, "YiFang was married to a young farmer who worked in a pineapple farm. She brewed overripe pineapples to make a refreshing and heat clearing pineapple drinks for her husband as a respite from the midday heat. Our Signature - YiFang Fruit Tea, inherited not only grandma's name, but also her secret recipe."Awww, what a beautiful and romantic love story... I would do the same for my "One & Only". Thank you YiFang for sharing your loving story and delicious fruit tea drinks with the world. Happy Pineappl'ing!

Got there and there was a good amount of seating and there was ac so we stayed for a while. I ordered the passion fruit green tea which was pretty good, I kind of wish they gave more ice even though I said regular ice, I'm just someone who likes a colder drink is all. There was passion fruit seeds in every sip along with my boba so it was an interesting change from my usual milk tea. All in all the customer service was great, I asked if they gave free water and they do! Would come again to try their traditional milk tea.
