There needs to be a Zankou chicken anonymous/intervention group cuz I've been addicted to their chicken and meals and cannot stop. Every time i try to stop i say "one more chicken tarna, i swear this is the last one!" and before i know it I'm back again the next day for more.

Zankou is reliable. The food is always delicious. The atmosphere is always the same. Such a popular place. I suggest to call your order in before leaving home. If you're undecided between tarna and Sharma, get a combo.
The chicken and their ground beef skewer (Lule?) was delicious! The chicken was well marinated and tender. It goes terrific with their garlic sauce. Everything on our plate was delicious--the cucumber salad and hummus included.
We arrived during lunchtime on the weekend and it was not crazy busy. Their parking is small, but you can park along the street. The bathroom was clean (you need a code to get it-- just ask one of the workers)
I had a disappointing experience at Zankou. The chef dropped a piece of kabob but still placed it on my plate. The beef kabob was undercooked and tough to chew, with visible blood. When I raised the issue, the staff asked me to show a piece instead of addressing it immediately. Overall, it was not a good experience.

I’ve loved this place since attending PCC many years ago, The best Mediterranean food around. Always a little slow but incredibly fresh and delicious! Chicken tarna & don’t forget the garlic sauce!!! Ask for extra garlic sauce, you’ll thank me! The kabobs are always cooked fresh and worth the wait!
