I'd like Zankou better if it weren't so dang expensive. Seriously the chickens are smaller than they used to be. It's $30+ for a family meal. I remember when Zankou was inexpensive!
Overall my experience was exceptional. I’m so grateful for not only the tastey cuisine but for the proper facilities provided for patrons like myself who have IBS -Type M and live with alternating (sometimes instantaneous) bowel habits -I never know what my experience is going to be like dining-in and zankou chicken has allowed me to continue to dine in with my friends and dates without any worry that I won’t make it to the bathroom in time. Been going to Zankou for literally decades. Really enjoy the food. It has gotten crazy expensive though, and we visit much less often than in the past. Food is still great though. Wait times vary and we tend to order ahead these days. We have tried almost every thing on the menu and like everything we have tried. Parking at the Glendale and Pasadena stores can be tricky, especially then they are busy.
