Black Sheep Sourdough Micro-Bakery

I purchased the sourdough cinnamon rolls and a loaf of green goddess (pesto and Parmesan) sourdough bread. They were both delicious and the service was friendly and fast.

I stopped by this morning because someone told me it was a good spot. I got the Bacon egg cheese bomb, it was good! I also got a cinnamon roll, really good as well

Perfect stop on our travels up California back to Oregon. Baked goods were fresh and rustic. Quality coffee. Clean little shop. Proprietor was hospitable and engaging about life in Paso Robles! Such a quaint town.

The owners are super friendly and the sourdough is incredible the scones are off the hook and the rolls are amazing. This is a great business and urge all North County residents to support this awesome local bakery.

Best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had

Just in town for a mini vacation, and stumbled on this bakery…my goodness was it good!!! Loved the Breaky Bombs Sausage Egg and Cheese breakfast sandwich!!! If you’re in Paso Robles, you need to check it out.

I was treated like a celebrity! And that was before I told them I knew Cal and Alex. I was overwhelmed!

We stumbled upon this gem on our way out of town, needing a road trip snack. Not only were the various items we bought absolutely delicious but the company was even better. Meeting Paula and Matt was the icing on the pastry if you would. These two have a beautiful story, delicious baked goods and the best vibes!
As someone with an autoimmune disease, I am so grateful for GREAT sourdough products because let's be honest... Gluten free bread just doesn't hit the spot. (Disclaimer: sourdough is NOT gluten free but homemade sourdough can be okay for gluten sensitive systems & for that I am grateful.)

Will absolutely be stopping when we find ourselves nearby again! ❤️

On our way home from an amazing weekend wine tasting and stopped by this gem. The food was delicious - 5 stars, absolutely grab a cinnamon roll, but the true 5 star experience were the owners Matt and Paula. They shared their story and recipes and it felt like we have known them for years. We will recommend them to any and all who are heading to Paso Robles. Don’t miss out on this place and people. Full of excellent looking baked goods and breads! We had a great time speaking with the owner/operator, what nice and community oriented people.
The pastries we arrived at our destination with were a big hit and i was pleasantly surprised with the cup of coffee i took to-go.
