Pretentious. We stopped for wine tasting and was met outside by a man that asked why we were there and if we drank wine. Not very polite. We tried the wine anyway. Nothing special.
Was recommended Brecon for their many Albariño’s - staff was very friendly - wine was great.
We discovered Brecon after friends’ recommendation, loved their wine style, wines, and names (like Budgie Smuggler, which apparently you need to be Australian to understand), joined their club, received several shipments per year, and made our second visit for a member appreciation event. A library tasting in the cool cool cellar (blankets available) followed by an open tasting and charcuterie upstairs made us feel truly appreciated, which was the point. The highlights were the friendly and knowledgeable staff, 2017 Cab Franc, 2017 Feral Underclass (I told you they have great names), the incredible old Valley Oak tree in the outdoor tasting area, and Roy the Aussie Shepherd winery dog, who befriended me either because I gave him loves or because he was hoping I was either a pushover or that gravity was strong in the vicinity of my charcuterie plate. But I’m not a pushover and gravity was normal, so he moved on. Brecon has some of our favorite wines in Paso and it’s a great place to visit.
Brecon estate was suggested to us by someone at the Tobin James winery. It was our first time there and we were thrilled that we included this winery on our trip. Their wines were unique and delicious and we join the wine club that day. Make this a must stop on your trip through Paso.
What a fabulous day at Brecon! The wines were absolutely fantastic, especially the Zin and the Mourvèdre. Thank you for hosting us!
This is one of our very favorite wineries in Paso. Team is wonderful and make you feel like family, wines are D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S!!!!! They know how to throw a party too... went to our first pickup party and the paella and salad were so good. I can't say enough great things about Brecon!
What a gem of a winery! The Malbec is amazing. All the staff were wonderful. Amanda, one of the owners, was a hoot and delightful on a dreary afternoon. The tasting room manager was so knowledgeable. Siegfried and Roy (cat and dog) greeting you on arrival was a bonus too. I would label this a don’t miss.
This was everything ? Cheryl was informative and embracing. The setting was perfection and the wine…divine.
Wonderful ambiance, yummy wine, great atmosphere
Pat was our host and we had a wonderful time. Wines were excellent. Met the owner Amanda and she was wonderful. Joined the club and looking forward to our shipments

They have the best array of wines around. I have never been disappointed.
Brecon was our third Paso Robles winery, right after Daou and Halter Ranch. It had a nice tasting area and had a very solid Rose blend. The staff was very nice and had great history on the wines. Unfortunately, they followed some very stiff competition.
Love this relaxing area
Great tasting experience! Lovely places to sit outside and sip! Dog friendly. They have a sweet winery cat too!
Arrived 25 minutes before closing and were not allowed to have glass of wine. Terrible hospitality, never going back.
