A very popular restaurant and reservations are recommended. The service was friendly and very good throughout our meal. I ordered the seafood fettuccine and it was amazing! Fresh sweet shrimp, yummy scallops, fish and baby clams & mussels! Soooo good! My husband ordered the lamb but it was just OK. The Burrata salad was very nice as a starter. They serve fresh bread with a Kalamata olive tapenade while you wait for your food to be served. We had a couple of cocktails that were done very well. A cucumber martini and a Negroni.

What a marvelous place to enjoy Italian food. We were greeted with a smile is always a great way to start. They service was ever so pleasant and helpful, especially when explaining their extensive menu. We started out with the Molluschi al teagamino which is clams and mussels in a light and flavorful tomato sauce, yum. For my main course, I tried the Pappardelle all San Pietro and you can tell the pasta was fresh. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and the sauce with the cream, tomato and prosciutto being the perfect mix of flavors. To top it off, the place is beautifully decorated. Will definitely think about coming back when we return to Paso Robles.

Our dini experience was disappointing. The capellini pasta was heavy and the tomatoes were raw uncooked there was zero seasoning. There was no love in preparing our food. we felt no sense of ownership and lack of management presence to oversee the room. our table was in the path to the kitchen so staff keep running into you banging into our chairs each time they came by. I moved our table as close to the wall near the hostess stand and the door was kept open for a long time the cold air froze us until I had to ask the hostess to please close the door! i suggest eating somewhere else, for $200 we feel saddened.

I love this place. I've been here many times and always excellent. Great food and always friendly service. A+ Ignore the one star from the cool guy because they wouldn't split the check. The People want to know if it's good food and service. The restaurant doesn't have to cater to a large party that wants to split it 12 different ways. Figure it out and stop whining.

A fantastic dining experience with excellent service. Very lively environment. We had a large party of 11 so we were sat outside. Though it was cold, they had outdoor heaters which kept us warm. As for dinner, everyone enjoyed what they ordered. My wife ordered the risotto which was cooked perfectly this time. I ordered the seafood pasta which was excellent. The meat lasagna was good too. Beer, wine and mixed drinks were all good with a wide selection. Highly recommend if you are in the area. It does get crowded so it is best to make reservations.

This is a wonderful place to take a date and enjoy some bread with olive dip. You will love all of the food which is served super hot , right off the oven and has a maximum taste with a minimum bite. My favorite is the Tortellini De Zucca which has toasted walnuts , white sauce and filled with cheese and pumpkin. However, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

So disappointed. We have had dinner here several times before. Sadly, this is the last time we will be eating here. We sat down ordered a drink and the appetizer and our first dish was served before it could have been cooked. I mean my pasta appetizer and my wife salad could not have been made in the 30 seconds and lightning time they served us. It seemed like they wanted us to eat and go. Our mains were bland and disappointing. My wife had the pappardelle pasta and I had the lamb special scaloppine. The service was average and the food was average as well. This is a white table cloth Italian restaurant not the Olive Garden. Sorry to say we will not return. Food, service and ambiance was average at best.

Buona Tuvelo Restorante, Paso Robles CA, March 28, 2024 We arrived at about 2 PM on a Wednesday afternoon at the recommendation of winery owner, Dennis Degher, of Domain Degher Winery. We had just finished up a wine tasting (recommended) with him. The place was not overly crowded, and we were seated immediately and greeted by our friendly and knowledgeable hostess. Everything on the menu looked delicious. So many great options! I wanted them all! For a first course, we had a Cesar salad and the lentil soup with a glass of Chardonnay. Hands down, no holds barred, indisputably, without a doubt, undeniably the BEST Cesar Salad I've ever had. Really! I'm not kidding. Insulate Bella Cesare is the official name. Beautiful salad indeed with flavorful Romain lettuce hearts, shaved parmigiana, rosemary garlic croutons, an amazing Cesar dressing, and perfectly placed white anchovies on top! I would come here just for that salad. But don't stop there! The lentil soup was amazing as well! We could have filled up on that alone. But, we didn't. After the first course, we had the pumpkin tortellini in a delicious cream sauce. Now I'm in Nirvana! The flavors were amazing! Tortellini stuffed with a perfectly seasoned pumpkin ricotta cheese blend and covered in a sage mascapone cream sauce. Delightful! I did skip that at the beginning of the meal, we were served a tasty sour dough bread with the proprietary Buona Tuvelo Ovivata olive tapenade! Delicious! You can buy 9 oz. jars to take home with you! Hope you find this place if you live in or are passing through Paso Robles! Worth stopping in!

I would have ordered the garlic bread and the Caesar salad with anchovies, but I didn't need more carbs, nor do I have that kind of appetite.

Food was amazing and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Me and a group of 5 other girls went to Buona Tavola for my friend's bachelorette party. She wanted to have a theme night where we wore wigs each one a different color. We stuck out like a sore thumb lol. The staff was very understanding and super attentive. The service was great. I would go there again 100% but next time I'll be leaving the wig at home.
