Caliza Wine in Paso Robles is a nice spot to check out! We enjoyed a pleasant tasting experience with good service and a friendly owner who made us feel welcome. Although we missed their burgers and wine event since we had already eaten, the lively atmosphere added to our enjoyment. Each wine we sampled was enjoyable, reflecting the quality and effort that Caliza puts into their craft. If you're in the area, it's worth stopping by for a tasting!
Wine and Burgers on Sunday + live music
Great experience. Lovely atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon drive and lunch.
Very good
great people and good wines
We had a wonderful time at our tasting and joined the club! Mandy provided great hospitality and humor and the wines were delicious! The new tasting room is beautiful too- please visit if you can!
Great tasting and education with Maurey over Labor Day weekend. Had some first time tasters with us and he explained everything to a T. And wines are amazing as well, had only ever been to Napa and these are equivalent or better with different varietals as well. Also, sense of community much higher here than up there.
Always great wine and service.
Very charming, family operated winery. The cheese and wine pairing was fantastic ?
Our company hosted a virtual wine tasting with Caliza for our out of state clients. Everyone had a wonderful time and the wine was thoroughly enjoyed!
Syrah is delicious and tasting was so well priced for great quality wine!
This is delicious wine and Brandon Faulkner is tremendous in the tasting room. He is very knowledgeable and full of energy.

great staff, amazing wines, lovely setting.
Aug Visit:
Stellar Winery STILL after being a member for several years now. No BS, just great wine from the bottle. The team is fantastic because the wine itself is not pretentious.
March Visit:
After visiting 12 wineries from Monterey to Paso last week, Caliza STILL stands out to be the BEST from the wine to the hospitality. The boutique rustic-style tasting room is tucked away at the end of the road beyond Booker Vineyard. Rarely do I ever enjoy every single wine from a tasting, but somehow Carl's wines have made purchasing just a single bottle or even a few bottles nearly impossible. Shout out to Tyler, Maury, and Mandy again for always making our visit memorable. We are glad and appreciative of Caliza following Covid precautions. Looking forward to next time!
Feb Visit:
QPR is absolutely on point! Hospitality is absolutely on point! Maury and Tyler were fantastic! Everyone working here is here because what they do is truly guiding the potential of the fruit. The wine speaks for itself. No overpriced wine! No fancy tasting room to curve your experience. Just honesty from both the employees and wine!
Great wines, Rhone and Primvitino. Friendly and knowledgeable service.
CALIZA WINERY is the best I cant wait to go visit them!!!;)
We had a blast hanging out at Caliza, the wines were lovely! We ordered the cheese plate to accompany the wine and it was tasty. Our Host loved his job he was a true connoisseur of the wines explaining how each of them were made up! Azimuth and Syrah were among my favorites! They had indoor and outdoor seating.
