Solid, no-nonsense Italian varietal winery with tastings in the warehouse. There isn't seating or anywhere to hang out inside or outside, but the wine is delicious and well-priced!
The prime winemaker, Bob Caparone, has turned the business over to his son, Mark, but the incredible flavor of the Merlot has not changed. I hope Mark and his wife stay true to the Caparone vision and continue to make incredible wine at affordable prices. Bob, my wife and I salute you!
Small family owner winery. Very informative and shared about his family & the Paso Robles area. Nice selection of free tastings
What a wonderful winery! Thank you Dave with the wine and conversation. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Can’t wait to open these bottles with family and friends!
Enjoyed the estate Nebbiolo or as known in Northern Italy, Barolo. Nice acidey and firm tannins. Open and let it breathe for an hour to help open it up. My first enjoyable Nebb from Paso.

A hidden gem. Let's be honest, Paso wines are becoming unaffordable to most. I had a good run going up to Paso 2012 to 2020 and never even heard of this place. I stopped in in late December after I saw it mentioned on a Facebook page. A dad and son operation. All wines $20. Repeat! All wines are $20. Simple, delicous affordable wines.
The oldest winery in Paso Roblrs area. A father and son operation, with open tasting. No patio etc but great prices on wine.
The best winery you've never been to in Paso. I've been coming here for years, and my parents for years before that. We can pop open a bottle from 2005 and it'll be even better than one we have from 2015. This wine ages gracefully, a testament to the winery and their quality. To top it off, they have some varietals you cannot reliably find anywhere else, with a unique and delicious flavor. Drop in here for a no frills tasting of delicious wines that don't need tasting notes to determine just how good they are.

Amazing wine and amazing family!
Best Italian varietals in the state!
This was my favorite winery in Paso Robles. Incredible wine and low-key family operation that felt very special to visit. A must-try when wine tasting in Paso Robles!
If you're sick of the "hit you in the back of the head with a 2x4" California reds and ready for some beautifully complex and subtle Italian varietals, this is your place
Excellent place!!
