Absolutely the best place for seafood in Paso. Try to grab a counter seat to watch it being prepared.
Great food and service!
We had a good dinner we sat at the bar the owner give you little bits of food so if you go there sit at the bar
coming from LA, the seafood here was definitely not on par with what we expected. the shrimp cocktail was overcooked, the halibut was overcooked and bland so much so that we had to send it back and they comped it. the king crab was ok. the cioppino was ok. the clams linguine and the seafood pasta had the same..sauce? also steamers to me meant something different but we were served the smallest clams I've ever seen. don't think I'll come back here. the server tried his best.
If you are from a food city like LA or SF, this place is very bad. Everything was overcooked. They should not specialize in seafood.
We came in ready to sail the high seas of seafood, but this boat had a few leaks.
Let’s start with the “steamers.” Or as we call them on the East Coast, not these. They tasted like they came straight from the freezer, not the ocean. On the bright side, the escargot was surprisingly good and definitely the highlight of the appetizers.
The cioppino was just okay. Not bad, not memorable. Pasta was solid, though it seemed like every dish had the same sauce. Shrimp cocktail was overcooked. Halibut was extremely overcooked. It was honestly inedible and we sent it back. Crab legs were also overdone and a bit of a letdown.
By this point we started to wonder if seafood was just not their thing.
To their credit, the server was very kind and apologetic throughout the meal. They handled the situation with grace and made the experience more pleasant than it could have been.
Maybe this is just the local standard, but for us, it missed the mark. Still, we had fun and made the best of it
What a great place for seafood. Had the seafood pasta and was not disappointed. Big flavor, ample sauce, and serving. The wait staff was attentive and helpful. If you like great service & good seafood food, this is your next stop!
We stumbled upon this by accident as we wandered through central CA. The food and service were outstanding. Definitely worth your time if you are in Pasa Robles
Bland sea bass, two bites of a side of potatoes, had to ask for extras to spice it up. Disappointment. Won’t go back. Management needs to be more hands on.
Great grub. Busy and noisy but man oh man the food! Had blackened salmon, wife had ahi, both delish!

This was our second time here. We had dinner outside, and the food was just as good as the first time.

The staff and owners always make you feel at home, like it's your first time here. We've been coming for years and the food/atmosphere is always consistent. We've never had a bad meal and most are over the top. Request Florentine style when ordering fish. You won't be disappointed. In this photo, we had blackened lingcod and beef stroganoff! Muy fantastico!
