Stopped here a while back and unfortunately had a negative experience — we were the only ones at the tasting room, and the specialist/associate was quick to pour the wines (in small doses) and gave almost no description as to what the tasting notes are. She would saunter back to the front of the room to resume time on her phone, which I know must be tempting to make a habit if it’s a slow day on the job, but it further contributed to the feeling that our experience wasn’t valued as is normal at almost every other winery in Paso. The wines were good, and I see great reviews otherwise, so I’m hopeful that this person might not be there anymore.

I had absolutely the best experience at Changala winery on Saturday.I purchased two bottles of Tres Vinas which is so delicious but definitely temporarily put some purple on my teeth and tongue and my girls Rose; don’t know the name.We listened to local entertainment provided by a husband and wife team; J Street Slim and their dog that performed a song that unfortunately I missed .They were so cute they told stories between every single song I absolutely loved them.Definitely visit this winery

Beautiful, familt-owned winery. Excellent wine! Had a hard time choosing a favorite. Also had delicious wood fired pizzas available. Brian is the most friendly person we've met at any winery, anywhere. Couldn't have been nicer. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!!!

Recently met Heidi Changala, owner of Changala Winery in Paso Robles. She very kindly suggested we book a tasting reservation and to let her know so she could personally meet up with us. We did just this and couldn’t have been more pleased. The winery venue is beautiful, location convenient, and don’t let its size fool you. Heidi and her husband have true passion for wine making. They are assisted by David and Brian, who manage weekend tasting and book special events. A great experience, and we look forward to our next visit real soon. All this points to a small boutique operation where the consumer isn’t just another tourist, hopping off the limo tour, but a welcome member of the family. Yes, we happily added Changala to our wine club memberships.

What an amazing location and winery! We went for Valentine's Day for cupcakes and wine pairing--------FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!! Alex was there to great us with a smile like sunshine! Heide and Gene came to chat with us as well. Their wine is like no other! We will definitely return when we are in Paso and tell ALL of our friends and family about it. We HIGHLY recommend a stop to this beautiful place!

Great wine tasting experience. Very drinkable red blends. Highly reccomend this boutique up and coming winery. Has attached B&B that really looks comfortable. Syrah especially great.
