Came in for lunch today. SO GOOD!! We ordered the Wedge salad, onion soup and the jam sliders. Everything was fantastic. Will definitely be back!

We didn't know there was a country club with a restaurant until we saw the listing on yelp. We tried the fettuccine Alfredo, wedge, French onion soup and calamari. It was all great.

We loved everything about our experience at dinner last night, except that the french fries that accompanied the burger were salty and soggy, and they were out of the local beer we wanted. Everything else was wonderful – the burgers, the sliders, the salads, and the drinks! And great service!

We checked for a last minute Valentine's Day date and were thrilled to get a reservation. This was our first time dining here and we loved everything. The staff was welcoming and friendly, the Valentine's Day menu was thoughtful and delicious (cordon bleu chicken for me and a bacon wrapped filet for him). We even got chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Family has tried this place 2 times this last month. First 2 times and I'm sure we will be back again soon. We wanted to get away from downtown and this place was great. Very clean nice restaurant. Service was excellent and very friendly. They have great options on the menu and everything we ordered we enjoyed. Great place.

The nicest people here. I had a meatloaf sandwich. My daughter had the fried chicken sandwich. They were both good. The meatloaf had a bit too much spicy flavoring in it. But it was good. Best fries I've ever had. Crispy and tasty. And they gave me a nice treat for my birthday. I'm looking forward to going back, sitting at their fire pits and enjoying some music.

Went there last week with two other couples and waited a long time to get our drinks at the table--they were good though, and the entrees were fine, but on the pricey side ($28.00 for fried chicken for instance). Everyone seemed to get the same sides on their plates, even with different entrees, which was a little dollop of whipped potatoes and some very overcooked broccoli which was also really salty. Too bad....they should have been lightly steamed or sauteed without being salty mush. The chicken and short ribs were very good though.

I visit frequenly and find that the food quality has definitely slipped. Used to enjoy the artichoke but no longer. The dried out meatloaf dinner drove me to my review

Great service and delicious food! We stopped on our way home from visiting our daughter from Santa Cruz. We are always looking for new places to try, this one was a winner

We stopped here for dinner on our way to Morro Bay based on the reviews in YELP and our interest in trying eateries we have never experienced. We were a few minutes late for our reservation but alerting staff by phone we would be slightly tardy (5 minutes) was met with cheerfulness and a kind, "No problem, we will hold the table for you." Pulling into the parking lot there is no doubt you are at a golf course. The space is part of the clubhouse building for a golf course and on first thought one may wonder if this is a nice dining establishment or the stereotypical snack shack menu for golfers making the turn after the front nine. Of course, based on the reviews and photos we knew this would be much more. Walking through the attractive entry way the host greeted us warmly and escorted our party of four to our table. The interior was bright and warm and tastefully decorated. Heather, our server, was wonderful - friendly, informative and helpful. My wife ordered the beet salad and Heather informed us the salad was large. I said we would share and when the salad arrived she had the kitchen split the salad on to two plates. Kudos to Heather! I love beet salads and this one was excellent. Roasted beets on a bed of fresh arugula with dabs of a truly outstanding dressing. My wife ordered the braised short rib tacos and our friend had fish and chips. The ladies said both were excellent and the French fries and Cole slaw were stand out good. My friend and I went for the braised short rib dinner and he and I were both impressed and pleased. The short rib was fork tender and excellently flavored. I would order this again and again but the next time we come through Paso Robles I would love to try the burgers. What I saw pass by me to other tables makes me want to return. I would also like to take this all in during daylight hours.I recommend reservations but I did notice a couple walk in and were accommodated. I overheard the host indicate they would check as there were many reservations this evening but shortly this couple was seated. And for those not familiar with the location, check your GPS maps carefully as this is not in a location with others businesses close by and only a small directional sign at the driveway to the golf course indicating Craft American Kitchen.

Nice view of the outdoors and a great place to eat after the hot springs. Food comes out right away and the grilled artichokes are a must try. Something to eat for everyone. The wine by the glass menu offers a great selection of wines from the Paso Robles region.

Comfort American Kitchen is less than a mile from the beautiful and elegant Allegretto where we were staying during last weekend's getaway. The hotel's Cello restaurant was fully booked for dinner so we decided to try CAK for its interesting and varied menu, photogenic ambience and reasonable prices. Everything that came out of the CAK kitchen was delightful. The French onion soup was perfect -- not too salty and not overcooked into an undifferentiated mess as is often the case in so many restaurants. The apple pecan salad was both robust enough to share and topped with a dressing that hit the perfect balance between sweet, salty and garlicky. The flatiron steak was tender, pre-cut and topped by an abundance of a zesty chimichurri sauce. The potatoes and steamed veggies that accompanied it were cooked just enough to tenderize while preserving their flavor and cellular structure. Our meal was topped off by a dessert of miniature beignets filled with strawberries and topped with blueberries and a scoop of craft vanilla ice cream. We left feeling lucky that the Cello had been booked. That feeling was reinforced the next morning when we made the mistake of having the Cello's sadly deficient, poorly cooked and horribly overpriced breakfast buffet. But that's another story...

Delicious food. Everyone was very nice. The chef is very skilled. Everything tasted very good including the salad dressing which was definitely freshly made. I had the meatloaf. They ran out of mashed potatoes and offered to switch it with a salad instead. I was expecting a bland salad, but was pleasantly surprised how tasty it was. I ordered the ranch dressing and it was the best ranch I have every had. I would definitely come back here.

Burgers are average. The $28 fried chicken is very dry and is only seasoned with salt - KFC is better and half the price. The service is a bit slow, they seemed understaffed. Meh.

The food, drinks and pleasant staff is undeniable! The only complaint I have is the last few times we've been there food coming out of the kitchen takes a while.
