We stopped at Concur yesterday and we were very impressed. The wines were all fabulous and the owner, Paige, if I'm not mistaken was a very gracious host. If you are looking for great wines and a friendly, inviting experience don't miss this place. One of the best wineries in Tin City . Highly recommend.
My wife and I had no idea "Tin City" even existed, but it's cool! Great place for one stop all day wine tasting. The GEM of Tin City is Concur! Patrick was an incredible host (and owner). He made my wife, daughter, dog, and myself feel very comfortable and welcome. They even had coloring books and puzzles for my daughter! She had a blast. Now, the wines. It's VERY seldom that I enjoy every wine at a tasting, but chalk that up to a very surprising first. Don't get me wrong, I liked some more than others, but they were all good. The stars of the show, in my humble opinion, the chardonnay and the red blend. WOW! Rare for me to enjoy a white as much as this. All of their wines finished so smoothly. Impressive wine making. Their bottles are not the cheapest but worth the price. Good wine isn't cheap, cheap wine isn't usually good. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a tasting. You will be glad you did. Thank you, Patrick, we will be back.
We didn’t expect to run into this gem in TinCity. Some of the best wine in Paso. The wines are so well balanced! Was such a great experience.
I had an amazing experience with my friends. Wine was amazing too. The Rosey was my favorite. Paige was amazing also, very pleasant to talk to.
Amazing wines. If you’re in Paso....you have to check Concur out!
We had the 2017 Random Harvest tonight and I swear it very much tasted like the table red we had in Nîmes, France. Bold, big, balanced, dark fruits w/ just a touch of tobacco notes. Freakin’ bomb! Paired perfectly with red wine braised short ribs. Thank you Tyler for sending us there from Cordant-Nelle!!
Hands down one of the best wines I have ever had. This is truly a hidden gem in Paso. It is truly a family run operation. Paige is beyond helpful. Must see, visit and taste!
I ordered a local Grenache, from a winery I had not heard of, at a Paso Italian restaurant to pair with my lamb shank. It was the best Grenache I have had, bar none. Upon inquiring it was Concur Wines. I had to go there...On Sunday morning, my wife and I headed to Tin City (a really cool area that we will be visiting again) to find them. We killed an hour and a half before they opened (11:30). As we stood outside, one of the owners arrived and brought us inside. Upon chatting, we find that they have only been open for FOUR WEEKS!Concur is owned and operated by 2 married couples. Both of the wives (and i'm so sorry, I have forgotten their names...) were at the tasting room and were awesome. One of them is the wine maker, too.Every wine we has was top notch... They are really rivaling some of their big competitors in the area. Their wine maker has been overseeing wine operations for, something like, 20+ years and boy does it show.We ended up becoming wine club members... This winery is going to be doing some amazing things... Watch out for them in the future! As a side; they have a second label that pours a few sparking wines. We only tried the Brut, but it was really REALLY good too... I should have picked up a bottle but I was side tracked while signing up for the club.
Beyond description, The Best !
