Great place to visit.
the wine is A +
It's like a mom and pop winery with probably the best wine I've had in Paso Robles. Friendly owners, very knowledgeable, and have been around for a while. You don't see many wineries like this anymore. Highly recommend going while they are still around because, unfortunately, home style wineries are a dying breed.
We were so looking forward to tasting some wine here, however, as we drove up, we were met by 3 barking German Shepherds with hair standing on end. A gentleman standing at the door really made zero attempt to get them inside. So….NOPE! Didn’t even try to get out of the car! They may have had the best wine in Paso Robles but sadly they lost
our business before we got to try it. Approach this winery with caution!
Friendly owners, good wine.
This place is the best. Jimmy and Mary Beth are THE best hosts and their wine is exceptionally delicious. Wish we could’ve spent more time there. California Love
Great wine and great folks
Great people, beautiful setting. Wine was lacking.
Nice people. Great wine!
Had a great time visiting this winery. The owner, Jimmy, was super friendly and gave us a bunch of tips on other things to do in the area too. The wine offered was really taste as well, and service was great. Would definitely visit again! The cute dogs were a huge plus too!
I called and left three messages regarding the attack and killing of a patrons dog and asked if they would please call me back. I wanted to speak with the owners to ask what and if anything is being done with the dogs to keep patrons safe. They chose not to return my callsI will not risk my life going to this winery, due to the severity of the aggressive and uncontrolled German Shepards on site.Obviously, they are quite aware of the danger their dogs pose.I saw this posted on Yelp. Almost ten years ago!12/10/2013A warning about this winery. My friend and I arrived on a Sunday morning 12/8/13 very excited to visit Doce Robles after reading the good Yelp reviews. When we arrived, we were approached by two dogs. At first the dogs blocked my car and would not allow us to come into the parking lot. After waiting a few minutes they finally moved and we were able to park. As my friend got out of the car, one of the dogs came at her and jumped on the side of the passenger door, leaving a scratch on my white car. The male owner came out and yelled at his dog to leave us alone. He quickly went back inside and did not have the courtesy to come out and see if any damage was caused. The owner saw both of us examining the passenger side of the car for about 5 minutes but did not come out again. We left this winery without going inside for tasting.Don't bring your new car or young children to this winery. The owners have two large, untrained dogs and he is not a responsible business owner.

This is a public winery that irresponsible has a vicious German shepherd that attacked and killed my friend’s small dog Buddy, the attack was unprovoked and occurred after being told that it was okay to bring her dog on the property by the owner. Why would you have such a Vicious German Shepherd in a public business, and what if it was a small child? The owner also voluntarily told my friend that this dog had attacked before and tore up a car while trying to get to a dog in the car. Please don’t Patronize this winery until this animal is secured or put down.
Would highly recommend!! Amazing atmosphere, low key but exceptional wine. The hosts are amazing Violet is a star and the wine makes it a fantastic singer on the karaoke machine.
Violet who works there is amazing! We had such a great time doing a tasting there. Highly recommend.
