I usually keep this one to myself, but Dunning is a gem I discovered back in ~ 2006, when Paso Robles was still a bit sleepy—known mostly for Zins and just starting to make waves with Rhône's. My wife and I have been members of the Dunning wine club for seven years. Every vintage that Bob produces is outstanding. His pricing is appropriate for the quality of the wines he produces. We have never been disappointed with any of the selections we've chosen. Don't miss the opportunity to become a club!! And, by the way, Bob is a great guy and couldn't be more accommodating. We are locals and have never stayed at the Guest Villa, but we LOVE Dunning's wines. The wines are first rate, the owners are both knowledgeable and welcoming, and they are tucked away in a beautiful location. What could be better? Highly recommended.
