The menu, quality, and execution are a tiny bit different from the highly-regarded Goshi in San Luis Obispo, but somewhat generally the same and not as crowded or hard to get a table.
Goshi is a requirement on every visit to the Paso area.

A wonderful spot for traditional Japanese. The sushi bar is fresh fresh fresh w-delicacies that aren’t always easy to find, the cooked foods were delicious and savory. Service was perfect and the price was fair. Run by a woman who took it over from her father. What more is there to say!? Go!!!
