We flew into Halter Ranch on a Thursday, ate a delicious lunch, did some wine tasting, bought several bottles, and stayed in a Pilots Cottage overnight. What a wonderful experience! The menu was lovely and our choices were tasty. The cottage was immaculate and comfy and we enjoyed the hot tub under the stars when we got back from dinner. We called a car to take us into Paso Robles for dinner because the winery restaurant doesn‘t offer dinner seating. The runway is VERY narrow and there is obstacle clearance on short final so I‘d recommend it to experienced pilots only, but it‘s nicely paved and tie-downs were easy. But WOW, what a lovely experience!

Halter Ranch is so beautiful. Our Waiter Omar was absolutely amazing. He gave us the History of Halter Ranch. Fascinating and so interesting. He was able to describe each wine including our food choices perfectly. He was so friendly and knowledgeable regarding all the wines and Halter Ranch. We had lost track of time because we had such an enjoyable visit and Omar my the atmosphere so relaxing.

I flew into Halter Ranch and the experience was nothing short of amazing. Paul was very helpful getting me set up at the Pilot Cottages and had a wealth of knowledge about the history of the property. The braised short rib was so tender and the olives appetizer was amazing. I was given a tour of the Caves and got to watch some of the processing of their olive oil. Such a memorable trip. I’m looking forward to future visits.

Beautiful winery ?. The food was Amazing. Our server Kristie was perfect. The Cave tour with Tim was Devine and so worth the time. Tom is a true Historian and knew all the history of this property and all the wines. Amazing experience and would highly recommend it.I almost forgot about all the wines that are the best wines on the Central coastal area !!!! ?
