It’s a small hut in a parking lot, though they spent a lot of time trying to make it look kitschy and eclectic. The owners are an older no nonsense couple - and they have quite an eclectic assortment of coffee drinks. My problem was that they were WAAAY too sweet - and it overall tasted too strongly of the syrup and less of the coffee. Their old west cinnamon rolls are fantastic though.

Parking: It’s hit or miss to find a spot -

Hmmmm my cafe mocha was I regret to say was pretty poor. Not trying to be a coffee snob but it was tasted like corn syrup :(

Absolutely love Hug a mug and the staff there. The food is amazing and it always smells so delicious the moment you walk in. I love their coffees and my kids are huge fans of the giant chocolate chip cookies. Alanda and team are wonderful ❤️

If you prefer sweet over coffer then this is the place for you. Unfortunately, our drinks were so sweet we wound up taking a couple of sips and then tossing them. Again, this could be chalked up to preference. I prefer to taste more coffee than syrup. The two people there were very pleasant , and it's a cute place to sit outside if the weather permits.

Great little place to grab a coffee and goodies. Very dog ? friendly. Easy in, easy out for those just passing through Paso Robles. Next time I need coffee, I'll skip the green lady and head over to Hug A Mug. You should, too ☕️

Fantastic staff, offered feedback about coffee selections. Not your hipster coffee bar, easy counter or drive up service.

Hug A Mug has become my favorite coffee spot. The coffee is fabulous! I love the creative options and that I can order a regular coffee or latte as well. The real difference that draws me to Hug A Mug is the kindness and friendliness of the owners. They have taken the time to know my name and I’m greeted with joy each time I’m there. The outdoor seating is a wonderful spot to spend some time or to meet a friend.
