We are locals and visit Il Cortile often usually for special occasions. The food is always delicious and the service impeccable. There is no better restaurant in town!!
WOW! What a great meal. My wife and I shared the grilled octopus, salad misto, veal chop and restaurant made pistachio ice cream not to mention ( but I will) a couple of manhattans!! Every course, including the simple salad, elicited oohs & aahs. We will definitely go back again... assuming we can get a reservation:).
We had reservations for 4 that were made a month ago but we were seated in a makeshift front screened porch area. The entire evening was under whelming.
This is the best restaurant in Paso Robles. The service and food is amazing. No matter what we order, it's always delicious.
This was one of the best meals we have ever had. Ivan the waiter was fantastic and help make the experience more enjoyable.
I have been here 3 times just for the truffle pasta! It taste just like the dish we had in Italy. My companions loved their food too and we appreciate the restaurant accommodating our party of 5. Service was excellent.
Very pleasant experience. Exceptional service—appropriately attentive and not overbearing. The food was first rate.
The food is absolutely amazing. If you're looking to enjoy a great time with delicious cuisine, this is definitely the place to be.
Great food & lovely service. Plenty of heaters and blankets on the patio to make it comfortable.
We visited this restaurant at the recommendation of my daughter and her husband. The taste, service, and cost performance were highly rated.By the way, it was our 39th wedding anniversary dinner.

Our dinner reservation was at 8 PM on a Wednesday. They had run out of spaghetti Bottarga ( husband and I both wanted that) and our waiter indicated there was no other pasta dish with a red sauce. I ordered a cheese stuffed ravioli, and it was not served hot but warm and was average. My husband's steak was also average. Our waiter seemed to be more interested in the table of 2 next to us. After waiting more than 10 minutes, we asked a different waiter to bring us bread. $$$$ pricing? Overrated and under- delivered.
We had the scallops, risotto, pappardelle, and the fettuccine. Everything was perfectly made and delicious. Bar tender was very friendly and attentive.

Great Italian restaurant! The atmosphere was lovely, we sat outside and it was perfect to dine al fresco. The food was really delicious! The pastas were to die for! The two fish dishes we tried were perfectly cooked. The salad was delicious, the octopus and scallop dishes were amazing. Not pictured was the pana cotta that was the perfect way to end the meal. Would totally come back!

Meals are pricy for San Luis Obispo County. The food is excellent along with the service.

To start with we had a 7:00 reservation and we didn't get our table till almost 10 until 8:00. The buratta crostini was excellent. The scallops and the osso buco were very good. The branzino was okay and the squid ink pasta was terrible. But the worst issue was they charged us a $40 corkage fee for the first two bottles and $50 for the third bottle. I spent over $130 just to have them open my wine
