So let me just say the people were nice. But I ordered car walk out, have the make and color of my car wearing clothes I don't really want to be walking around in. I had to go check to see if my food was ready the first time saw no one in there and they said it will be a min. No big deal. I was for 10 -15 min. Finally walk back inside(btw my car is directly in front of the front door I can literally see them). They put my food on the counter talking and gossiping with coworkers while my food gets cold looking directly at me. And when I go in she just yells the foods right there can't even be bothered enough to stop the conversation and do her job. (Blond girl) Again she was nice just a terrible waitress.
Welp I've tried the food now. Tri tip is tuff and chew. Fries aren't salty let alone not seasoned. Won't be ordering from here again. And I would get a refund if they offered it but nah. There's no option for it so yep that sucks I was hoping this place would be nice. Looks nice but oh well. I'll go to cal coast next time

The service was very good. I had a rack of ribs (planning for leftovers) and left some on the board. The ribs and mashed potatoes were very salty. I took one bit of rib and it was like eating a spoonful of salt. After that I stopped eating and didn't take the rest home as planned.

We just moved to the area, and wanted to check out the restaurants. The Espresso Martini was good. The gluten free burger bun dry:-( I am gluten intolerant, and I was hoping to find a good burger. Our Classic burgers were good. The meat paddy a little flat. Lol However, the sweet potato fries dry/over fried, and my garlic parmesan was swimming in oil (picture). We paid with card which is an extra fee. The bill for 2 people was $76. This is too pricey for us. Sorry, we will not be back. If I pay that price I expect exquisite food!

We tried to give that a second chance tonight. This place had the vibe of someone's first restaurant who knew nothing about restaurants before opening it.

Food was great but because we had a group of 6+, we felt ignored by staff because we get charged 20% tip period so they didn't feel the need to come by the table very often. They lost out on alcohol, and desert . Very disappointed and probably not going back even though the food was good.

Five of my last to go orders were wrong when I got them home and when I called, they said sorry it’s nothing we could do there’s no manager here. When I ate in the restaurant a couple times the food was awful so sad. It was such a great place.
My experience at Jack’s Bar and Grill in Paso Robles was nothing short of exceptional, and that’s largely thanks to our incredible server, Lily. From the moment we sat down, Lily went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. Her energy was upbeat, her timing was perfect, and her recommendations were absolutely spot-on.
We had a few questions about the menu, and Lily was not only knowledgeable but genuinely enthusiastic about helping us choose the best dishes. Her attention to detail and friendly attitude made all the difference. You could tell she really cared about making our experience special.
The food and drinks were delicious (highly recommend the tri tip tacos), but honestly, it was Lily’s outstanding service that made our night memorable. She checked in just the right amount, made sure we never ran low on drinks, and handled everything with such grace and professionalism.
If you’re heading to Jack’s, ask for Lily—you won’t regret it. She’s an absolute gem and truly elevates the whole experience. We’ll definitely be back, and you can bet we’ll be asking for Lily again!

I got the French Dip. Meat was cut too thick and had gristle, so impossible to eat without pulling the meat out of the bread. (In a proper French Dip the meat should be tender and cut paper thin). And“toasted hoagie” roll was just a bland white bread roll (should be a… wait for it… French roll). The dip came in a very small bowl and I ran out after half the sandwich. I got the “filthy fries” which were just sort of a gooey mess with surprisingly little flavor. All in all, it was pretty disappointing. I won’t be back.
